Lismoyne Hotel

The location was good , very close to the town centre

We travelled from London in the morning hoping to hv lunch after Checking in , but as we had passed lunch time, we requested in room service as per the menu provided in the room, but to our amazement was told that the kitchen was closed and no food could be ordered. Until after 6pm. I feel there should be some kind of meal available especially in a hotel of this standard. So this was very disappointing and unsatisfactory in my opinion.

The property is very pretty and in a very quiet area of the town. There's lots of space plus ample parking (and we were able to leave our car there for a couple of hours after we checked out). The room is spacious and warm and the bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and clean as well. Staff were all friendly and welcoming.

We paid extra for the breakfast but it didn't seem the worth the cost (about £26 for two of us) so we opted not to get it on the second morning and went into town instead. Not enough toiletries for two people. The TV was in an odd place on the wall and we couldn't watch it in bed.

The main part of the hotel is old but the decor suited its age without being drab. It is set in amongst trees with good parking. The outside looked very pretty lit up in the evening . The hotel also has the advantage of being in easy walking distance to the town. Our room (10) was at the end of a corridor and had a cupboard next door, so was very quiet ( on the first evening!) The room was a good size with a large comfy bed and comfy pillows ( which is rare in a hotel) The bathroom was a good size with a simple shower that was easy to work, which is always a bonus! All the staff were friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a cheery hello and a smile.

There was a function on in the hotel on our second night's stay so there was music playing until 12.30am. When that stopped there was the moving of furniture. However, this is to be expected from a hotel such as this and would not prevent us staying again. Breakfast was extra at around £12 each. As we don't eat large breakfasts, it was more economical to walk into town and have something on toast at a local cafe for half the price! There are several cafes that open at breakfast time.

Lovely rural setting in old building full of character with ample private parking.

The access road despite obvious attempts to sign post is still a little hidden and I and during my stay I saw others stop to mistakingly turn into the adjacent building premises. Provisions for EV charging (AC type 2 fast over-night destination charging) would be a real bonus the nearest working charger was a few miles away (Cove Road) in a private car park attracting a premium tariff of 75p/kWh at time of writing.

Absolutely love visiting . We have stayed a few times now as our son lives 10mins walk from there. Beautiful location , staff are outstanding and friendly, rooms lovely, breakfast yummy . Also has a small bar which we like to use . Enjoyed this weekend so much , we stayed an extra night . Looking to visit again ,hopefully with our other son and his family to visit his brother . glad to have a room a little nearer reception this time. Breakfast was fine, except not having any white bread on the Friday morning. Loved the chicken shnitzel in the evening. Hermione was a breath of fresh air on the Thursday evening(31st) and very helpful, then at breakfast on Saturday morning with her colleague Katie. It is nice to have happy cheerful people around.

Would of liked the towels changed daily, not put on a radiator to dry as it mixes them up after we had dropped them into the bath :(( Also hospitality tray was not replaced, but reception helped out there :)

The hotel is situated in an excellent location in its own grounds. It is a short walk to Fleet High street. A nice quiet location on a very pleasant road. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a large carpark at the front of the hotel. Overall the hotel was very good value for money; I would stay again.

No real complaints. The only slight negative was that the room was surprisingly small.

The Hotel is right near the town of Fleet with plenty of parking. It is well presented and the bedroom & ensuite were a good size and clean. The breakfast was really good with a great choice of continental to full English and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful & friendly. All in all, a good choice of accommodation & we will go again next time we are in the area.

Not a lot

Myself and my husband booked this hotel as a little treat as we dont get to spend much time together due to work and children... We were blown away with how lovely and peaceful it was. The hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. It also has a homely feel which made us feel very relaxed. We had such a lovely time together and the jacuzzi was a lovely bonus. We have rebooked to come and stay again in June ❤

Comfortable room in the newer extension with double aspect. Very quiet location. Extremely comfortable bed -slept very well. Breakfast had plent of choices for all tastes and staff very helpful courteous and friendly. Did not eat in for lunch or dinner so no opinion for these.

Bathroom could do with refresh/modernising but it was functional and did not spoil the stay.
