We arrived quite a while before check in and the lovely lady on reception managed to get us into a room early which we were very grateful for! The room was perfect for what we needed, enough space, a good shower, very clean and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Usually when I’m away from home I get hardly any sleep but I slept very well! Breakfast was very good also, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was spot on, a great choice of both a cooked and continental breakfast which was just what we needed to set ourselves up for the day. We were also able to leave our bags securely with reception until we were ready to leave later in the day. A pleasant stay and I will definitely come back! The location is also spot on if you want to visit places in the Old Town, with everything within walking distance.

- Breakfast: very complete breakfast. It could help to have everything self service, instead of ordering to the staff. - Room: Tidy and comfy - perhaps toilets need to include items such as toilet brush. - Bed: Comfy, very comfy - Toilet and room: very clean, the showers are amazing, the building seems to be well insulated from room to room.

It was not a major nuisance, but there's a lot of humidity coming through the windows, we even felt a light breeze even though the window was completely shut. We know dampness is characteristic of the place during parts of the year, but long term, it may result in mouldy areas around the window frames.

The staff is always so kind and nice. This year their breakfast also feels improved than a couple of years ago (right after the pandemic). The location is exceptional, rooms are comfortable and bathrooms are compact and clean.

I wish for maybe another couple of veggie choices for breakfast buffet (it's very meat heavy), and maybe put the cheese and the cold cuts in separate containers, with separate tongs. As you can tell from this very minute feedback, there's not much they need to improve for the bigger picture.

The breakfast was wonderful. The beds were comfy. The location was good. The room was clean and modern with plenty of plugs and everything we needed.

Wish we would have been told that there wasn't a lift on the property. We had a few older people in our group and we were all put on the 4th floor. We asked for one couple to be put on a lower floor and they did accommodate our request. We had 9 rooms altogether and it was a struggle to get all those bags up the stairs. The guy who checked us in originally didn't seem to know what he was doing and was nervous to check in so many rooms. I had to fill forms out that were unneccesary as all of that info was provided prior to arrival.

Extremely comfortable bed, very clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. Location was good, took 10 minutes to walk to Royal Mile/central area. Also great availability of USB sockets in the room.

Slight smell of damp when we walked in to the room however this subsided. Would have liked space each side of the bed as well as more space in general. Tv was a smart tv which was a nice surprise however it did not actually have any smart apps tv features set up. The reception is in a completely different building to the rooms which was a bit off putting. There was also no clear sign of a lift nearby.

Love the location and the rooms are really nice

Was so disappointed had booked breakfast when we got their to get up the next morning early to go get it for the lady at reception to say they don't do breakfast Monday to Wednesday was disappointed as uave had the breakfast their at our last stay and was amazing so was disappointed in that also our room was very steamy after shower had been on and the window behind bed was constantly soaking wet which made our bed feel damp rooms was lovely and clean but was disappointed this time round just with the bed feeling damp other than that was fine

Location is perfect! Rooms small but convenient and very clean. Thea and coffee is available.

We booked the room including breakfast, however about 1-2 weeks before arrival the breakfast was cancelled…no reason given…prices were adapted, that was nice but not really happy with this…a nice breakfast in a restaurant or coffeeshop in these times is quite expensive…and we’ve tried to look for another hotel which was financially not really possible anymore…all prices we’re sky high which is normal if you book for arrival in a week… Either serve breakfast or communicate much earlier so overbooking is possible!

A good location not too far from the centre of the City. A clean comfortable room and bed. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast selection in nice clean dining room with great service from friendly staff.

No air conditioning so had to have the window slightly open as it was quite warm. This resulted in quite a lot of early morning noise from vans unloading outside. No lift so had to climb stairs which was testing for my wife who has asthma - but we hadn't asked for a ground floor room.

Excellent value for money. You can reach everything interesting in about 10 minutes walk, the room is not luxurious or too big, but it's comfortable, warm and smells nice and clean. The bed is super comfortable, and you have everything you need for a short stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful (even offering us early check-in), and the quick check out is dream for an introvert.

I think the space can get a tad tight if you stay for longer (and if you have a big suitcase for instance). But it did not affect us.

Tiny, little, colorful room! It was challenging to organise our clothes and stuff, and learn how to live together in such a little room, but this is why we choosed this place to stay. We loved it a lot!

We missed an elevator a lot, didn't like to climb up to the third floor with a heavy suitcase. It's in the university district of the city, so the street was noisy even at night. Cold air was pouring into the room near the closed window, so the nights were quite chilly.
