Ardenlea House Hotel B&B

For the price I paid, I was more than happy! The place is basic but clean and the owner is a friendly person. The place is a three minute walk from Dyce Railway Station which also has an excellent fish and chip shop right next to it. Wifi in the Ardenlea was strong and continental breakfast plentiful. Overall, very satisfied!

After arriving at Aberdeen Airport I was advised that it was to long a walk to the Ardenlea from the arrivals terminal. Despite being close to the airport as the crow flies. it is around the back of the airport which resulted in a 5 - 10 minute taxi ride, not a big issue as there were plenty of taxis available. One other slight issue was the breakfast room is next to a room which had an 'office' sign on the door. However, it was also a sleeping room, as both times I went for breakfast during my two night stay, I was serenaded by snoring from the 'office' which did put my slightly off my corn flakes.....but all in all, no big deal....I liked the place!

such lovely helpful people. i was stranded after a vehicle breakdown and they couldn’t do enough for me. allowing me to spend some time there today to keep my phone charged and contact garages etc to get my van repaired quickly. they are so hardworking, helpful and generous. excellent value. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot worse. i try to keep my travel costs low. shower and bed really comfortable. what more do you need?

the owners have only been in a short time and are clearly working hard to get things up to 100%. nothing obvious to dislike and I have a feeling with their work ethic, they will get all things needed sorted in time. this plane will only get better.

Very friendly welcome. Efficient check in. Everything really clean. comfortable bed and bedding. Warm room. Hot, powerful shower. Breakfast included. Family friendly. A room for family of five which in our experience is unusual and the main reason we stayed here instead of somewhere else. Would definitely stay again.

Hmm hard coming up with anything negative. Ok well I prefer brown bread for breakfast and there was only white, yep that is all I can come up with.

I stayed in a single room, ensuite, was very clean. Location was perfect for me because I came for work in Dyce. The staff is amazing.

Too dark outside at night, If there is a motion sensitive light, would have been great. Also so corridors between rooms in wood, so if someone walking outside you can hear it , some nice carpet would minimise that.

it was close to the airport and the owners are lovely and very welcoming. There is a kettle in the room but no teabags or coffee, however you can ask the owners for tea and coffee, I have them with me when travelling so I made my own. An adequate continental breakfast is provided from 6.30am, which suited me so no problems. There are pubs, shops and eateries which can be a 10-20 min walk, but if you have a car then a very short drive. I would stay here again.

The room was really nice. The bathroom had a really nice shower and with soft fluffy towels provided I felt really clean after my sleep on the extremely comfy bed I had. The breakfast selection was really broad with something to please even the fussiest of eaters. The manager was a really friendly and kind man who was always up for a chat and I had a good laugh with him. Hopefully will return one day :)

somewhere cheap to get your head down for the night . excellent value for the money , nothing flash, you get what you pay for !

Not in it long enough to not like anything , basically arrived late at night and had to be up and out by 5:15 am so served it’s purpose absolutely fine

The staff were very nice, polite and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Only thing letting it down was that even tho there was a kettle there was no tea or coffee, we had to go ask for for it, but it was not a problem. We had an early flight at 4 am and our breakfast was supplied early for us .

Great price. Very close to the train station and a good pub the run was clear and the facilities great

Calling the facility wasn't good. I called twice and each time a very young none English speaking child answered.

helpful staff, clean room and near airport

Breakfast was OK but a bit unimaginative. It could have had Aberdeenshire specialities (butteries, oatcakes) or Bangladeshi (the managers were from there) , plain yoghurt, real bread (it had the traditional English sliced bread)
