I messaged two days ahead of our stay to ask fir a family room as our grandchild would more than likely be staying. On arrival we were given a beautifully large family suite - two rooms. Very comfortable The breakfast was very good - several dishes for cooked on offer along side help yourself continental. We had a meal at the restaurant in the evening which was also very good - the dipping gravy was out of this world! Lovely building and helpful staff - would recommend this establishment 👍🏻 We have family in Coventry, so would definitely consider staying again During our stay, we visited Warwickshire Lavender Farm - would highly recommend a visit during the session

No decaf teabags nor coffee on offer as an alternative, but only a very minor issue, & currently wouldn't prevent us from retuning Located off busy roundabout & satnav didn't pick up the entrance so we had a few trips around the roundabout until we found the correct exit off No or very limited public transport links, not easy walking distance from city centre (over an hour) so a car is definitely needed, but again not an issue for us, just something to consider

We had a problem on arrival as our room had not been prepared. There were no spare rooms and so we waited in the bar/restaurant until it was ready. The manager/reception staff were really excellent and were as surprised as we were when they first saw the room. We don't know why it was not ready for occupation. They immediately offered compensation in the form of food and drink. We were completely satisfied with the way in which it was handled. The restaurant staff were efficient, pleasant and hard-working.

NOT the fault of the hotel, but as present (autumn 2022) the roads in the immediate area are difficult. Works have been ongoing for over 2 years in the adjacent junction. It should be finished early next year. Satnav has a real problem if you are approaching from the south.

Clean and comfortable room, nicely decorated, well equipped and a good size. Staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Plenty of parking right outside. Pub provided good range of food options.

Not really hotel's fault but other guests were very noisy outside the building after midnight, and stayed there chatting and smoking for a long time. Too hot to close the windows so it made for a disrupted night. Maybe the hotel could remove the seating from the area outside the bedrooms as people could sit outside the pub instead.

The room was clean and well appointed. The staff were very pleasant and made me and my dog feel welcome. Food in the adjoining pub was good. The locals were friendly. It's that time of year when fireworks are a constant menace for my terrified pooch but she couldn't hear them at all from inside the pub nor from in the room.

Not the hotels fault but the entrance to the car park is really hard to find due to the current roadworks. Especially in the dark. Sat Nav took me to Rugby Road near the Roseycombe Pub. The solution for me, after going up and down the same bit of road several times was to put Brandon Road in Sat Nav. Traveling from Rugby Road the entrance to car park is on the left before B&Q.

The staff went out of there way to help me they came to find me when I could find it because I was tied and had my dog with me she needed to have a quick place to go for walk which they had it was sad with no fault to them was road works which I am sure that will finish soon I feel for them food well spoken off but I was showing my dog at a local show and arrived late so was unable to fast the food but other people claimed it was good bed was very comfortable I slept very well quiet my dog slept better in her crate snoring all night the room was clean tidy just want to thank them so much Pearl Sullivan thanks for every thing

good location separate rooms to the main building comfortable beds good shower friendly staff breakfast was nice with continental and cooked. dog friendly, and no additional charge applied free, ample parking quiet at night have the restaurant on site was nice and the service was good

we booked for two nights and there was only milk and coffee supplied for one drink each. bathroom door needs planed as it does not close. toilet seat is poor quality and kept coming off no toilet brush skirting at the bottom of the bath panel needs replaced

The room was tidy and very clean. Room was nicely decorated, with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, fan and independent heater. All eventualities covered…

The corridors were a bit bashed, and I know there need to be fire doors but it’s hard getting luggage through multiple heavy doors. Personally, I didn’t like the bed as it was very firm… but I know others do. That’s a personal choice. It’s currently surrounded by road works and is now nearly under a flyover. The approach road could be improved as it is very rough, with lots of graffiti and poor signage. Hopefully this will be improved when the road works are finished. But the room was quiet enough. We ate in the restaurant. Good selection of foods offered and friendly service, although the waiting staff could have been better at keeping an eye on table when we wanted to order drinks and pay. Took a bit to get their attention!

Friendly staff, good location, nice restaurant and food at the better end of pub grub. Plenty of parking. Rooms are clean and quiet, they have everything you need. Beds are firmer than I'm used to but still slept well. I would book again if working in the area.

I'm being picky here but the bath can be slippery when getting in and out of the shower. Reception does have anto-slip mats available apparently. There wasn't a lot of natural light in the room and the lighting wasn't great, I had the curtains closed most of the the I was in the room though. The other thing that annoyed me was a car that is clearly owned by one of the senior staff parked in the only disabled space every day. There was no disabled badge displayed and a lot of free spaces on the car park.

I've given 10 out of 10 because I paid less than £70 for bed and breakfast. For that price, it was absolutely exemplary. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. If you look on other platforms, you'll see people give it unrealistic reviews as if they expected the Savoy or the Dorchester. Would I want to live there? No. Would I be happy to stay again for a couple of nights? Yes.

For the price, it was excellent.

Huge rooms. Comfy bed with good quality bedding. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Pub next door serves a great selection of food. Friendly staff. Fan provided on the room which was great, although placed on a very high shelf (along with the iron and hairdrier) which I suspect some guests might not reach easily!

Fixed shower head...grrr. Please please...not everyone want their hair wet with every shower! Fixed head showers mean you have no choice...luckily, I found a shower cap in my was bag as none are provided. Would also appreciate some water in the room, or at least available from the vending machine.
