The location was was very good ,the room was lovely and the breakfast was out of this world. Neal and Shaun were the perfect hosts.

This was a certainly a quirky place to stay. Our host Neal was amazing, he made us very welcome and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts (both full English and Continental) were delicious and cooked fresh with local ingredients. Breakfast was served in the delightful cafe. The beds were very comfortable and rooms individually furnished with an eclectic mix of furniture and fitments. The baths were deep and luxurious, with plenty of hot water.

The deep luxurious baths were difficult to get in & out of for people with any mobility problems and there were no walk in showers. Free parking was 5 minutes walk away.

Neal was friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was nicely decorated and had good facilities, including a Nespresso machine and freestanding bath. The location was great, right in the heart of town. Breakfasts were very generous and tasty.

Two small things that didn't greatly affect my stay but would have given me pause had I known about before. Both of these things may have been specific to our room, though (Moulin Rouge room) 1) the bed was not very big and crucially, had a footboard. This meant that at 6ft 2 I had to sleep curled up and at an angle. It was manageable because my partner is only 5ft 2 but I think two tall people would have an uncomfortable night in that room. 2) There was a bath but no wall-mounted shower, only a shower attachment to rinse your hair in the bath. The bath itself was very luxurious but worth bearing in mind if you prefer to shower.

Artfuls is a fantastic bed and breakfast. The location is perfect for the beach and restaurants, right in the centre of everything. This does mean the rooms at night can be noisy but that is the only downside. The rooms are unique and clean, bedding is hotel quality and very comfortable beds. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was really great, fresh fruit, delicious yoghurt and cooked breakfast with as much toast as we wanted. I would thoroughly recommend Artfuls for a stay or as a bar, cafe, the atmosphere is so relaxed and great 😀😀👍🏼👍🏼

Being in the centre of things can mean the rooms can be noisy at night.

The location, set back only a few yards from the seafront with easy walking access to the promenade, restaurants, shops and parking. The hotel had a well stocked bar and was open throughout the day for light lunches and afternoon teas The staff were all delightful and the breakfasts delicious. The decor was "quirky" - each room with a theme, described on their website - and some fascinating individual items.

Our room was compact, with little space to put luggage. A personal problem, since I'm over 6 foot tall, was that the bed had a footboard.

Quirky well located place to stay. Attractive bedroom and good welcome. Very good breakfast. Comfortable mattress and pillows and good bed linen. Ability to let yourself into accommodation if out late. Some update needed as bath towel rail and toilet cistern in need of repair and the bath taps were loose. A second stay and we would stay again so all in all a good stay.

Very small aspects: A dressing table would be welcome and a few minor updates would benefit: bathroom towel rail re-fixing; cistern pipe re-housing.

The staff were great. Couldn't have been more friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent: you ordered whatever you wanted the day before and they made sure that you got it! The rooms are themed and a little quirky, nice to stay in somewhere a bit different.

A little more hanging space for clothes would be nice. Other than that, we would be hard pressed to find anything that we didn't really like about our stay.

The B&B is located right in the middle of town a very short walk from the beach. Room was very nice. Lovely linen on the bed. Breakfast was fabulous. Husband said the best eggs benedict he has ever had. Hosts are lovely. very helpful with luggage getting up and down the stairs. Nespresso machine and loads of capsules to choose from, very generous supply.

The wifi kept dropping out and you had to log back on frequently. The roll top bath was very deep and a bit awkward for older guests.

Fantastic location off the High Street right by the sea. Staff fantastic. Nicest people, kind, engaging and professional. Being a solo traveller this really makes a difference. Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had! Room was gorgeous. I stayed an extra night so was in 2 different rooms in all - so pleased as I got to try 2 comfortable, spacious, wonderfully decorated places!

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave!!

The location was great - very near the beach. The staff were so lovely and accommodating and they had a little dog called D'Arcy, who was adorable. The hotel itself was very quirky and had so much character. I loved our Victorian themed room. The breakfast was great. Very good quality produce. We also had a charcuterie board for dinner one night, which was great. Would definitely visit again. Thank you to all the staff
