Berkeley Suites

Great location and a wonderful suite - booked to stay the night before and of my wedding. The space was fantastic for my bridesmaids and mum to stay with me the night before, close to the Botanist for a wonderful dinner, and plenty of space for us all to get ready and the make up artist to set up and work in the morning. It was wonderful to come back to after my wedding and stay with my husband, for a relaxed end to the evening and no rush to be out early. The kitchenette was great and included loads of basics such as milk, tea and coffee.

The minibar should include a price list as it isn’t complimentary (to make this clearer). The rear of the projector wasn’t accessible to link up a laptop to watch a film, and despite saying they’d send someone down reception didn’t act on this during our stay.

Very efficient and friendly staff. The suite was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The welcome sherry and biscuits were a lovely touch too. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice, the French toast was the best I’ve ever had. We also ate in the restaurant on one night and the food was exceptional.

The communal garden for the suites could do with having a bench or chairs as the weather was gorgeous but our only option to enjoy the garden area was to sit on the floor.

Location was great, many facilities to use freely. Staff were all lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The bar and Terrance was lovely to sit in and enjoy a birthday drink. Many complimentary items on offer including Prosecco. Overall lovely stay.

The projector in our room did not work for tv in the main lounge area, we were offered to have someone come to look at it the next day but we would have checked out when available. Other than this I’d say great.

The location is excellent with a 10min walk to the harbour side bars. The property was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good range of choices.

The bed needs stabilising and the shower handset holder needed tightening up which was required to use as the height of the shower is too low for a 6ft 3in person.

Absolutely loved staying here. Fabulous suite beautifully decorated. Very friendly receptionist staff. We initially couldn’t find property but realised that check in was at The Berkeley Square Hotel and we had to get a parking permit before we could park. Once this was sorted everything was perfect. Quirky rooms with projector and fabulous hidden kitchen (What a brilliant idea !) Comfortable bed and very quiet location. Perfect for visiting Clifton and the city centre. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the little attentions to detail - the sherry bottle & fruit bowl, the coffee machine and the robes/slippers. Staff extremely friendly. The projector was very quirky. The deco was just stunning. Location excellent for tourist spots, visited museum & cathedral, and walking distance to O2. Great eateries nearby, across road from the Botanist. In short, we loved everything!

Loved the building and the fact that it’s self contained with everything you need. The champagne on arrival was a lovely touch and the young Spanish lady in reception was incredibly friendly and helpful.

It’s getting a bit tired. We rented 2 suites and between them the electrics tripped, the dishwasher didn’t work, the coffee machine is a nice touch but only enough coffee for 1 cup each, obviously we bought more so wasn’t really a problem. The kitchen tap is loose and the kitchenette could do with freshening up. The outside rain drainage is a problem as it rained hard and flooded in through the sash windows in the bedrooms, but despite these easily sorted issues we still had a lovely time.

Very clean hotel our room was very nice and clean swimming pool was nice but could do with up dating apart from one bar staff the rest of the staff was polite and helpful .

Check in was a very long wait queue was out side the front doors even tho we checked in online before we arrived .went to the bar in the evening we was the only people waiting to be served to be told you can wait by the bar staff when she eventually served us she was very rude .

very stylish quiet , a very relaxing two days . I had one of the suites very high. standard lots of space spent a lot of very chilled out time there . loved the Small bottle of Sherry complimentary. Delicious. very good breakfast. well ll definitely be returning can’t wait .

everything was perfect. any queries we had were quickly and efficiently dealt with. the kitchen area was very well equipped for a short break. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
