The Mayfair Hotel - OCEANA COLLECTION

The staff were so friendly, helpful and happy! Always saying hello, even the cleaners. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. Bed was comfier than my one at home and now I need a new mattress! Very accommodating and a lovely building with probably the best location if you are travelling to Bournemouth by train but want a quick walk to the seafront!

Rooms were very slightly dated but we weren't exactly there to spend our holiday in our room!

Breakfasts were very good, the staff & service were excellent, very attentive & nothing too much trouble. The location was excellent, easy to find & not too long a walk into town & bus stop outside if you didn't want to use the car.

Not charging for parking at the hotel through Booking.com. if you book direct with the hotel there's no extra charge (so we were told)

A bit tired. However very clean and plenty of space for clothes. Breakfast was excellent and staff very polite. Location was fabulous as everything was in walking distance. Would book this accommodation again

Windows were a bit shabby and dirty

To booking.com. My husband and I were working on my iPad to book the room and I recall scrolling down the screen to book a room with breakfast and then to have flexibility to change the booking with a premium charge. I thought once we had booked, everything would be OK. To my dismay, on arrival, I found that the breakfast was missing on the booking. Other than that, we were very happy with Oceana. Magdalena, the receptionist, wins special applause as she is so calm and professional.

For the money, I had more than I expected. Hence, there is nothing I dislike. On entering the room, there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke. This is not the fault of the hotel but naughty customers. After a few minutes, the smell disappeared. Was it a ghost? Or someone who had smoked in the room? The cleaning staff are more than able to have rid the smell from the room which disappeared, as I said.

From the moment we entered the hotel we felt very welcome. A clean room with comfortable beds and a good shower. Breakfast was cooked freshly and presented with a smile (we could tell even though they wore masks) The hotel is a short walk from the beach and town centre

Hotel personal always friendly and ready to help. Great location only few minutes walk to sea side from the hotel. Amazing receptionist, bartender and cleaning staff is well. If you want to spend nice holiday in Bournemouth with your family or friends this hotel is the right option for you guys. Highly recommended :)

Rooms were roomy and tidy enough. Location was close to amenities and beach. Housekeeping staff polite and friendly.

Car parking was for extra cost. Reception staff weren't particularly welcoming. Breakfast would have also been costly for our family of 5 so ended up in the local pub. Beds uncomfortable; 4/5 of us ended up with sore backs.

Staff very polite and helpful, room clean and tidy lots of cupboard space,bathroom clean also shower very easy to get to grips with hairdryer in room to,so all in all a really good base to start at,oh yes bus stop to other local places directly outside,take the 50 open top bus if weather is OK.

Only 1 thing 12 £ per day parking as next door was 5£

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were wonderful. Location ideal with good bus service.

Our room was up in the top with 53 stairs to climb. Lift was busy most days. Also no outside seating available as described on the website.

Absolutely amazing place so relaxing attentive staff cleanest hotel ever . Breakfast to die for . My other half said good pint too . Nice short stroll to the beach. Nice quiet garden at back to relax . Nice size room and on suite and comfy beds . No bad points at all 🙂

One thing wrong we wasnt there longer
