A handy hotel for the Tatton Park Garden Show and the new RHS gardens at Bridgewater. This is a dining hotel with some rooms and it is very popular in the evenings. There is plenty of parking at the rear. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom well fitted out with an excellent large shower. Cooked breakfast was made to order but there was only one cereal on offer. You could opt for a rather limited continental style breakfast. The staff were helpful and efficient. Evening meals offered a good variety of interesting choices, with a wide range of wines but fewer beers.
Our room overlooked the ducting from the two extraction fans. They were noisy and it meant keeping the window closed. This has reduced the overall impression of the room. Another chair would have been nice when two people are occupying. Some of the public areas are showing signs of wear on paint and furnishings.

The restaurant and food was incredible. The staff were very helpful and mostly friendly.
The decor was very dated with peeling wallpaper. The rooms are very tired with very creeky floors. When we asked what time the bar closed at night the lady said last orders were soon so we should order another drink at 10.30 if we wanted anymore. Despite this 15 mins later we felt very uncomfortable when they switched the music off and made it clear they wanted to leave. I appreciate we were the only ones in the restaurant but it wasn’t 11 and she shouldn’t of offered another drink it she didn’t want to give us time to drink it.

Nicely decorated hotel in the beautiful area of Alderley Edge, 15 min away from the airport by car or cab. Service was really attentive and food better than I could have expected. Surprising and delicious dishes throughout the menu at every time of the day. If you stay there, you don't need t go out for dinner anywhere else. Also, the free parking is hugely appreciated for those having a car.
Some details, especially in the bathroom could need a good refreshment. Apparently, I was unlucky on the weekend I stayed there, but the Wifi didn't work at all for my entire stay (three days), which is quite annoying. Also, coming from Germany, I didn't plan an adapter to charge my phone, so think about taking one, because the hotel doesn't have any available solution, so you'd need to drive to Sainsbury's in Wilmslow. Finally, the isolation wasn't quite great, so windows were quite humid and if you don't aren't deep sleeper, cars driving by might wake you up many times at night. It didn't bother me more than that though.

Staff were friendly and very polite. We were provided with a fan upon request and they offered to refrigerate our baby's milk. Travel cot ready and set up upon our arrival as per our request. Excellent size family room . Spacious room meant we could lie in bed around the corner while our baby was falling asleep in her cot without being disturbed. Fantastic breakfast. Lots of options on the menu. My husband, baby and I thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Bed was a little hard and edges of shower tray, including entrance area needed a slight scrub.

The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was yummy - the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was perfect and I enjoyed a lovely evening walk into the bustle of the restaurants
The room was a little tired and the corridors a little creaky when people were leaving early maybe for the airport There were a large group of football lads/men so the noise made it difficult to get to sleep luckily I had my ear plugs

Booked for one night for early flight from Manchester(4 mile drive away)was much better than staying in the airport hotels this is a great hotel with excellent bar restaurant and beer garden 10 mins walk from ardley edge which is a lovely place with nice bars! We had to leave at 3am for airport and I accidentally locked wash bag in my room and had to press button for night watchmen who was actually the guy who checked us in but was still and happy and polite will stop nowhere else when I need a airport stop over 5 star place and service

Food is exceptional. Bed very comfortable. Shower is great...lots of hot water and spacious. Location is convenient with ample parking.
Plastic cups in bathroom are really flimsy and wrapped in more plastic...not environmentally friendly. Would expect a glass in a hotel of this calibre. TVs need upgrading to be able to stream or use a stick. Room was not serviced on day 2....yet you pay the full price for both nights. Expect room to be serviced. One bedside light didn't work and a couple of bulbs were blown in room.

The location was great and the hotel reception and bar area were nicely appointed, clean and fresh. The food in the restaurant was superb as was the service.
The room! It was outdated and needed modernisation. The bed was uncomfortable and creaky and there was a lot of noise from outside as it looked over the car park. It was one of the hottest days to date and there was no aircon nor fan in the room so we had to open the window but still so hot we didn’t get much sleep.

lovely pub style hotel, rooms were comfortable, clean and breakfast was good.
the radiator wasn't working in the room so it was really cold as we entered and cold as we entered the room later after meal (obviously). we went downstairs to see what they could do and a gentleman came up to the room but couldn't seem to fix the problem. but they did give us a 'blower heater' which of course made a difference, so all in all they were helpful and sorted the issue.
