Oceanic Khorfakkan Resort & Spa

The location of the hotel was spectacular. The staff were the best if not making our stay better even though there were drawbacks to the hotel and facilities. The beach in the hotel premises were really good and thought off. The swimming pool and snack bar were excellent.

Felt the hotel was too old and with time the equipment in the rooms and hotel are fading away. Washroom had no exhaust or an AC. Very stuffy. The AC in the room would not go below 21 or 22 which we had to keep on at all times even if we needed to leave the room. Breakfast was exactly the same dishes for all the 3 days. Not a difference in any dish.

I stayed in a beach villa so the size was really good/huge and the view also is great. we had direct access to the beach. dedicated parking for each villa was provided. I loved the welcome gifts that were waiting in the room (chocolate, fruit, and fresh juice) there were a lot of extra bellows and towels (not for breach). and the washroom was filled with quality hygiene consumables. the staff is really quick and easy to deal with (in and out) location is fantastic for being close to everything including transportation, internment, activities, views, restaurants, and no traffic during the weekend.

towels were not available on the beach so we had to walk all the way to the swimming pool area to collect them and go back to the beach. also, the supplement coffee machine didn't work for some reason. the sound system is a bit old to play CDs which is not available nowadays.

Oceanic is a constant family favorite. Their service, staff and amenities are always at its best. Our stay this time was made more special when the staff went above and beyond to make our birthday staycation special and memorable. Not only did they upgraded our room to a suite with sea view but also did some complimentary decorations and gave us a sweet birthday cake to celebrate the day. We had amazing room service food during our stay, we had ordered the grilled Peri Peri chicken family meal. The room service supervisor and team were very accommodating and ensured that our food was prepared well and delivered at the requested time. Just to name a few members of staff that helped make our stay memorable are Twinkle (front desk), Damanda (housekeeping), Anika (front desk) and many more.

Location of the hotel was breathtaking, surrounded by the sea and mountains. Staff at the front desk made effort to give us the best view. Thanks to Salah and Dia. We received a room with sea view on the 5th floor. Was nice to see sunrise in the morning. The room was clean and staff was very attentive offering extra cleaning every day. Thanks to Topister, she kindly refreshed and replenished all amenities. All our needs were attended quickly, amazing service. Beach is wide and clean, water quality is great. All water sports are available. We enjoyed drinks from pool bar, my acai smoothie was delicious. Mountain hike trails are just 10 minutes away. Spa is nice a clean, we enjoyed oceanic massage, Lia was fantastic. Overall the stay was great and memorable.

Great location and views, helpful and friendly staff. Most needed services were available, such as gym, spa, good room service. I liked the fast response from the staff and there understanding of guests needs. As i was in a business trip, they ensured that i get a quite room with the best view of the sea. I really appreciate their support at all stops, from arriving at the hotel till the moment i left.

The only thing i could comment on is the internet speed and and its signal. Unfortunately it wasn't available the way i expected.

the staff was amazing mr Salah and Ms Dia / Doa so helpfull and welcomed us warmly. the hotel was amazing and the private beach and staff at the pool was helpfull. Manoj at the pool bar was amazing and made us refreshing drinks and gave us an idea on places we should visit. thumbs up to all of them.

the housekeeping keep ringing the bell for cleaning. to top that they even u tell them u don’t need it they stalled me for a review I was so sleepy at that time. I understand they are doing their job but if no one answer after the third ring they should not keep ringing the doorbell

The location is perfect. All the attractions in Khorfakkan are easily accessible. The private beach is clean and the pool is good as well. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Manoj at the reception made our check in process easy Considering that it is quite an old place (I remember it right from my childhood), they have done an exceptional job in maintaining it they way it is. Facilities are ok under their limitations for space. Will stay again if opportunity arises.

Breakfast spread could be better but was definitely acceptable. Can't complain much. There was a lot of construction going on on one side which made it less appealing but I guess some things can't be controlled.

We had a fantastic experience. The hotel is located in a great location which makes it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist. The highlight of our stay was definitely the sunrise view. It was absolutely breathtaking and made my stay that much more memorable. I highly recommend waking up early to catch the sunrise from the comfort of your own room. The breakfast provided at the hotel was ok, many options and sufficient to start the day. However, what really stood out to me was the kids pool. My son and wife enjoyed it.

The room was well-designed and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. However, the pillows in the room was a bit too firm for my liking. The wifi in the room was quite slow,. we had a portable wifi so it's not an issue for us.

Great location just minutes from Khorfakkan old town and right on the beach (private beach of hotel). Big pool and chairs for lounging, with swim up cafe. Staff are excellent, very hard working producing great service. Walking distance to waterfall and minutes drive to several nice hiking trails. Hotel rooms not the cleanest ever, hotel is showing wear and bathroom needs a revamp. But a nice base for the east coast and the hotel has a relaxing scruffy charm. Spa on the top floor provides excellent massages in rooms with view to ocean - nice ladies and men separated sauna and steam room.

The staff were so kind and accommodating to my needs! Every single person went above and beyond to make us comfortable. What a great team! I loved the beach, it was so clean and beautiful! The playground and swimming pool was kid friendly. There is also a play area/day care for children! It is a family friendly hotel. The beds are wonderful! The room was spacious and sunny with two big beds. The breakfast was good and the room service was great. The food portion sizes were huge! Also, there wasn't any alcohol served on the premises, which made me feel very comfortable due to my religious beliefs, but also because I was travelling alone with my babies.

The hotel is old, so the pipes occasionally splattered and gave me rusty water. There was construction on the mountain side and it really disrupted the view. There is also a large petroleum drill on the other side that hinders the view too. If those two (the construction and drill) weren't there, it would look like heaven on earth.
