Bera Konya Hotel

very comfortable hotel in a good location. Easy to find when driving and free car parking around hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, many speak English (sorry, my Turkish is poor!), hotel is so quiet on higher floors, we had a great sleep. It’s a large hotel so there is a huge breakfast. There were many guests which surprised me as rooms are so quiet. All kinds of fresh and cooked foods in buffet style and a lovely lady making traditional hot breads in the dining room. Hotel also loaned us umbrellas as it was pouring!. It also has a sauna and small gym. Very comfy beds and big hot shower. Konya and this hotel are an excellent half way stop when driving between Antalya and Goreme as we did. ( if you’re thinking of hiring a car in Turkey, do it, great roads, not much traffic on highways, easy driving , We recommend!) Also recommend this lovely hotel

Bera hotel is located in city center and walking distance from the culture park and Alaadin hill with plenty of dining options all around. Despite being located close to the main road, the noise insulation was amazing. Not even once did we get disturbed by the traffic outside. The rooms are clean, well kept, spacious with all amenities one requires. The rooms have both heating and cooling options available. The breakfast was authentic Turkish and served in a restaurant with ample space and attention to hygiene. I spent 5 nights with family and became a fan of the place primarily because of the hospitality extended by the hotel manager Abdurrahim Dundar. An elegant person who is knowledgeable about history, culture, and speaks fluent English. He helped us book our taxi for the return trip to airport as well. The kids loved it so much that they didn’t want to leave after the kind of hospitality and care they experienced. In essence, we found another home away from home. Thank you Abdurrahim and Bera team!

It is recommended to take a taxi from the airport if you have luggage. The havas bus service from the airport drops you at alaadin hill and you will have to walk from there on.

Clean, comfortable and central. Very spacious. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and freshly made flatbreads to order from a lovely woman. Good dinner menu, sometimes a buffet if the hotel had groups staying, otherwise from the menu. All freshly cooked and good value with enough choice for vegetarians. Quiet room and good service. Konya has an astounding history with many mosques and museums to visit. It's a modern city with ancient roots and markets for buying everything. Plenty of green space and walking away from the main roads. High speed train from Istanbul really comfortable.

We stayed for one night in this hotel. Rooms are large and clean. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and helpfull. You will manage to discuss with them in English. They offer the possibility to park your car, we gave them the key and they handled it (the car was returned to us in perfect shape). One specific mention: a few reviews on google show a conservative/rude approach of this hotel. We did not experience this, we felt welcome, the staff was very nice and polite and we have seen different types of guests (Turkish, Western European, etc), all of them treated in the same welcoming manner.

There is nothing that would ruin/affect your stay in this hotel. But those who like to be picky should know the following: - there seems to be less light sources in the rooms, hence there is less light - some of the walls seem to be thin, early in the morning we could hear the staff of the hotel talking/working

The people. The city The staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The place was sparkling clean. Beds comfortable. Good view of the city from the room. Rooms were warm even though it was freezing temperatures outside. Close to taxis

I liked everything except that the bathroom had no ventilation because there was no extractor. It would get really stuffy. However, that didn't take away from the wonderful stay. I have noticed that this is common in all the Turkish hotels we stayed so far

The rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. The bath/ sauna facilities were good

Staff advised me females were not welcome to use the sauna facilities. This was not apparent on reservation site. The bath attendant told me I was welcome to use the facilities, and I did, but I do not know what the standard policy is at this hotel. I selected because of the availability of the sauna. If women are unwelcome they should have 2 sets of facilities available.

I loved the central position of the hotel along with the nice, clean and comfy rooms, abundant breakfast and the hospitality of the staff. It's a great hotel, excellent for using when going through business trips in Konya or if you pass through turkey and need a good rest.

I do not have anything to right here as I have had a most pleasant experience at this stay. Even the parking was good and plentiful. The breakfast was amazing with several diverse dishes. 10/10 would recommend!

Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet.

Requested and provided a non-smoking room, but the room was on the smoking floor! I had to use a bath towel to block the door gap to minimize smoke from entering the room. However, I still smell the smoke in the room! The toilet leaked when flushing the toilet.

Close to nice parks, not much traffic noise, good restaurants in walking distance. Good breakfast, clean rooms and everything working in the room. Staff is very helpful.

Beds are somewhat hard but not too much. At breakfast only filtered coffee, ordering extra espresso will help a bit but you have to go out for real coffee.

Breakfast was rich and varied. The hotel is in a good position, so we could walk around the city. Our car was safe in the hotel parking. The hotel is tall, but there are enough elevators for efficient communication.

I got the impression that everyone at the reception doesn't speak English or they don't do it very well.
