The vibe of the place is amazing! Perfect for solo travelers! And the staff will help you with anything you need! And the Internet is the fastest I’ve seen so far!

In a less touristy area, but still close to great places

Not the most social, and the street it is located in is a little dark at night and as a female solo traveler I didn’t feel comfortable going alone there at night

It was a nice place to stay. The bed was comfy and the locker could hold my entire backpack. Also, there was comfortable common area to seat with laptop. Free stable wifi. I met some great people to hang out with.

To be honest, the bathroom was dirty and smelly. Many residents kept their towels, underwear, and clothes on hooks in front of shared showers. Taking a shower was unpleasant because there was always some hair on the floor, and someone always turned off the water heater for some reason. Another thing, they didn't provide a padlock for the room locker. And they recommended me to buy it myself in the convenience store nearby. It wasn't big deal for me. But it was the first and last hostel which doesn't provide padlocks for their own lockers. It felt a bit weird to me.

This property had everything! A working area if you are remote working, a pool which was perfect for me as I like to stay fit by doing laps, the room was excellent very clean and the bed was comfortable, the whole accommodation was very clean throughtout, the food served was also very good! The bar tender was very helpful with recommendations and a really cool guy, the whole staff was very nice I was able to get a scooter hire through the hostel which was very easy. They also do washing aswell which was perfect for me! But overall I would stay here again definitely!

Absolutely amazing hostel. The perfect mix of sociable and quiet enough to do your own thing. The other guests that stay there long term and the staff were so friendly and got me involved in loads of fun things. The other travellers I met here were also fun and we formed a great friendship group. The hostel is very clean and tidy and the location is great being so close to fisherman’s village. There’s adorable cats everywhere and Taylor Swift plays regularly in the lobby although you can change it if you wish. Ended up extending my stay to 10 days here.

So sad I had to leave after making such amazing friends here and leave the cats after spending so much time with them.

Lovely pool. Food was amazing, available to order almost all of the time. Easy to rent a bike through the hostel. Chilled out but social and friendly, people go out but stuff doesn't all revolve around alcohol. Everyone went out for group dinner on the last night! Ended up staying a week. Nice and spacious, one of my favourite hostels in Thailand.

I really loved the hostel itself and the facilities, the room was very clean and the staff was also great!

- the bathroom was not the cleanest sometimes - another important thing to note if you book here: on the road that leads to the hostel are many dogs, I generally don‘t have problems with dogs but I got almost attacked by one of those dogs (he wanted to bite me). After this incident I never walked there again since I was so scared that I always got a taxi. (I know that this is nothing that the hostel can control but I think it needs to be mentioned)

Very welcoming staff and clean rooms. We slept very well cause of the quiet location. The location is very good and at a road with less traffic. You can buy food and drinks for affortable prices. There is a Muay Thai Training Studio nearby - only 100 m. Us Hostel Samui also have a co-working space with aircondition and great internet for very good prices. I see this as a perfect “get away” place to stay if you’re working remotely, want to do Muay thai and be close to the Fisherman Village.

Lovely property with a cold (!) pool, which is open the whole day. I do like the different seating areas outdoors and they have a new guest kitchen with a huge fridge, water cooler and a small cooking station.

The rooms are very small (6qm for 4 people) so there is no space to leave your backpack outside - everything must be stored in the locker otherwise you can’t walk anymore. Furthermore, the bathroom needs to be repaired as the showers didn’t work properly, one sink was broken as well as one toilet.

Loved tis hostel so much, the pool is so nice and the overall layout is great. Ended up moving to this hostel from a terrible one, worth every penny. Loved the rooms of 3 people, social spaces with bar. You can also order food at the bar which was delicious. In a great location.

Be careful of the dogs at the end of the road at night if you're by yourself i didn't have any issues but I heard from others that they had issues. To get around you need a moped, not many taxis.
