the room was nicely decorated, staff was nice (Ray the butler was amazing)
too expensive when you compare with other hotels and what you get. breakfast variety is a shame, staff is not properly trained (it started when we arrived with our luggage and they asked what could they do for us…we weren’t told a private event was held in the garden, two staff came to tell us different things our room was ready and a few minutes later it was not, we’ve been asked if we wanted another cocktail when we just received one, received our drinks while almost finished with breakfast…) lights are not the same in the garden and agressive for your eyes. that’s too bad because trees are not shown enough, it’s just bad lighting. the garden/lounge chairs are bad quality, same for pool loungers. some rooms patios views are in the common area. the stairs in front of the old house are hideous. you have sofas available but they are not well exposed. the exterior design just doesn’t make sense. we had a previous stay at Raya Heritage hotel and it was exceptional on every aspect and for almost half the price.
