Yomi Hotel - ShuangLian MRT

Many facilities set for the customers in their B1 area, including drinks, computer, and even entertainment facilities. You can have a bathub room if you asked earlier. Room is contains so many socket, we dont even need to use our convention plug Hotel are really close to the shuanglian MRT exit 1&2, a walk for 5mins could arrive. Many food and convenient stores nearby.

Cleaning can be improved, quit many dust in the air, which might irritate the respiratory. (even though they alreay set a dehumidifier) and everything is quit perfect.

I love the location, as it is in the middle of the town. Everything is accessible. The staff is accommodating, respectful and kind. One of my favorites here is the pantry area, which has free jelly, coffee and tea area and massage chair. Plus laundry area.

The room was great, except for a few things. There's a different smell coming from the toilet area. It is not a horrible smell or whatsoever but different that's not pleasant to sensitive people. It also rained during my second night of stay and I noticed water by the window. I called the reception area and a house cleaner came to clean it.

The room is extremely big for one person and even for two. The wall was covered with cute cartoon wallpapers making the room very suitable for family travelers with kids. Water cooker was provided in the room and lots of tea bags, instant coffees, and small snack, all for free. Additionally, the room was equipped with a small fridge, which is perfect to put in some cold drinks or beer as you arrive and enjoy them afterwards. One thing worth mentioning is that in the basement is the dining area for breakfast, and although I didn’t book the breakfast, but the coffee machine, sweet jelly dessert, and a treadmill are there for free to use any time. The staff at the reception was super nice and helpful 24/7.

To be honest, it’s hard to find something bad about this hotel.

Staff were very friendly, had good facilities such as 3 washing machines and 3 dryers, but was a bit hard to navigate as they used coins and had different prices on how much water will be used per spin a bit confusing. Washing powder was at 20TWD. Convenient location, had family mart, a pharmacy, several food stalls and bubbletea stalls nearby as well as a massage place. About a 5mins walk to Shuanglian mrt, and a bus stop also about 3-5mins away. Hotel looked modern at lobby.

Carpet smelt a little, walls were peeling from new wallpaper, sink kept leaking and water will pool on the countertop. Bed was quite hard, but they did provide additional pillows. Soundproofing was quite bad, you could hear vehicles from the outside at night and there was a beeping sound in the room that could be heard near the dresser. No mini-bar, only had water, some coffee/tea packets and the boiler.

The front desk staff were helpful and kind. The room was a nice size with European bedding and space to place and open the suitcases. There were spaces for two people to sit. Yomi hotel also had a nice surprise gathering space in the basement. This included a snack space with a microwave and a laundry room. This hotel was near to the Metro line and it was easy to get everywhere. A 7/11 and Family Mart were next to the hotel. Many choices for food and Rx nearby

the staff at the front is very helpful and kind. room is very big. lighting in the room is great. bathroom’s amenities is great. the conditioner makes my hair very soft and smooth. body lotion is good quality and smell nice. toilet keeps me warm. The hotel is not so far from bus station, family marts and 7-eleven, cafe. Shualian MRT is only 5 mins walk.

the smell at the lobby is very bad. it seems like it comes from the basement. it smells like pesticide and gasoline. you can smell it even you just walk pass the hotel in the front. in the room you can smell it a little and sometimes it smells like cigarettes or smoke but it goes away or maybe I gets use to it.

The location of the hotel is just a walking distance from the MRT station. There were a lot of shops near the area too. It was nice that the hotel had self-laundry services, a treadmill, and a massage chair. The front desk staff I talked to was also helpful.

Hotel should've informed us that breakfast was in the form of vouchers at their partner breakfast shop. Some of the interior decor needs updating and cleaning like the carpets. Sound-proofing between rooms was not that great.

Yomi Hotel ShuangLian MRT is well located centrally in Taipei. It is very close to the MRT, less than 5 minutes away. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants around, as well as several 24 hour 7-Eleven and Family Mart shops very close. I particularly liked the masage chair downstairs, which offers a free 15 minute full body masage from head to toe. You can repeat the 15 minute masage as many times as you want.

I liked everything about the hotel

Welcoming staffs that makes our stay comfortable and relaxing. Everything you need is around the area and it's very accessible to Shuanglian MRT. The value of money spent is worth it.

They are kinda disorganized. First, they gave us the wrong room and second there are stuff in the stairs and some are just left in the alley. Me and my partner loves walking but this time we used the elevator even though we are only at the 3rd flr. They should have a stock room and proper cleaning maintenance.

The Yomi hotel is good value for money, not more not less. Obviously it is no high class hotel, but we stayed comfortable during out three nights in Taipei. It has a good location next to the red line metro (Shuanglian) - 5min walk. The neighborhood is ok and there is a great breakfast place around the corner (Early to rise - highly recommend!) Our room was clean and actually pretty spacious. Everything worked fine. Overall a good stay.
