Best Western Premier Hotel Beaulac

Very centrally located near the city center which is just 10 minutes walk, right on the lake with a nearby garden and park. Plenty of parking spaces (with payment) near the Hotel. Fantastic elevators with video walls give a very nice feeling. Smiling personnel both in the reception and at the restaurant and a happy atmosphere all around the Hotel. Very polite, always smiling, and willing to assist housekeeping ladies, especially a young lady from Portugal. The junior suite with a lake view was roomy with 2 bathrooms (one for visitors right at the entrance). Wenge wood high-quality furniture with a big table and design chairs for four persons. Everything was very clean, big comfortable sofa, the suite had elegant decor and plenty of lights. Windows all over the suite provided ample sunlight all day long. The mini bar was fully stocked and was working fine (low temperatures even on hot days). The air condition was working superfine both in the bedroom and the living room (there are separate zones with individual settings which is great). All in all the junior suite makes you feel not at a Hotel but at your home. It was our second consecutive summer in the same suite and we had the feeling that we were at our home.

The internet connection was a little bit slower than expected (in comparison to other Hotels). The breakfast is expensive for what it offers.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better. A really gorgeous port in a really cute city. Of course the Lake view would've been better but even the city view had it's charm. The staff was incredibly nice and very helpful after some misunderstandings and uncomfortable happenings. Everybody tried to make our stay as good as possible. The Rooftop Bar is gorgeous, the view just magnificent and if you book breakfast you definitely get a really yummy and great one just be careful of the little birdies, which want to steel your food :-D. All in all we would recommend staying here!

Be careful with parking, the ticketing people are everywhere and they don't care if you speak french or not! Parking can be super expensive but sometimes you can park for free but be aware you still need to pull a ticket out of the ticket machine, which we didn't know! We only put the parking clock out and got a ticket! The good thing is that parking is free from 9pm-7am so if you are doing daytrips it's not bad. There is a huge parking lot 2min walking from the hotel. The rooms could be a tiny bit bigger, because it is hard to get in and out when the bed is directly "in" the door

The room and view were incredible, we had the lake view and it was stunning, I highly recommend it. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were extremely courteous and made us feel very welcome. The drinks in the rooftop bar were very tasty.

The menu in the rooftop restaurant was limited, and the food was the only part about our stay we would change. The bed had feather pillows only, but it was probably possible to ask for different ones - we only stayed one night so not too much of an issue.

I recently stayed at the magnificent Best Western Premier Hotel Beaulac and I must say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've had. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed with the warm hospitality of the staff. Moving on to the room, it was spacious, luxurious, and had all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens were of the highest quality. The room was also impeccably clean and well-maintained. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Not all rooms have a view of the lake. Although, there was not really a view of the lake from the room, the property is right next to the lake so you could just walk a minute and sit by the promenade overlooking the lake In summary, I highly recommend Best Western Premier Hotel Beaulac to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel experience

Nothing really

I like the location, just by the lake, the view is super. And convenient to take a walk or go to city center. The art and history museum is right in front of the hotel!

The mosquitos are outside the window and quite scaring. Due to this we are not able to open the window and the air conditioners is very week(already turn to max fan) so i feel a little bit stuffy. We stay only one night, although we may not use more than one roll of the toilet paper....but still i'd like to see there's spare one inside. The lotion is also empty, it would be bettter to check every consumables before letting people in.

Room size and view; breakfast; dinner; the reception staff and the staff in the restaurant. All very helpful and kind. Also superb mattress and bedding. Great walk in shower and towels of excellent quality.

The toilet seat was loose - very annoying. A fixture on the right hinge is missing causing the problem. Also the rim of the ceramic pan has staining on the right hand side that looks like mould. The staff using the store room next to us (we were in room 30) were having a great time slamming doors and making a lot of noise at night when we were trying to get to sleep - also very annoying.

"Nice" view at the lake. Although disturbed by the architectual monstrosity of a cagelike exteriour conkrete-structure blockin most of it to both sides. Mostly, but not perfectly clean, very comfy bed. Great view from the top floor bar.

beard stubble and hair on the bathroom counter is a no go. Also the mirrors weren't polished. Other than that clean. Breakfast the bare continental minimum and therefore not the standard anymore nowadays. Tables in room very used up.

My name is Michael Lucas, Tatyana is my wife, we came to the hotel from Miami to celebrate a New Year's Eve 2023. We had an unbelievable time. Nicolas Muller - the hotel's food and beverage manager, organized for the guest's of the hotel a fantastic, high quality New Year's Eve party in the rooftop hotel restaurant overlooking the magnificent lake Neuchatel! Though we did not have a reservation for the New Year's Eve celebration which had all been sold out, he managed to accommodate us as well. Nicolas Muller's professionalism has no limits or boundaries, Nicolas is a detail-oriented high-professional with top skills in hospitality management. He can make people happy even in unpredictable situations. Thank you Nicolas, you made us happy on the New Year's Eve 2023 and you make this hotel a better place and we will by all means come back to your hotel again to experience a high level food and beverage service. The room which we were given was not exactly the room we paid for. We were supposed to have a king size bed facing the lake view, but our bed was facing a wall with TV and the lake view was from the side, which had some blocks obstructing the lake view and we also were give disrespectfully the lowest floor, though I asked for a higher floor, we made such a long trip to the hotel from the USA and I think this request should have been met, this was very unfortunate I should have complained but I did not have strength to fight the receptionist after a long tiring trip from Miami, all we wanted was just to get rest, so we put up with the room which we did not really like and had to pay top dollar for it.

We had a great room, very clean, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The bar is also brilliant with a top view and dinner was an absolute delight and definitely worth the slightly higher price.

Breakfast was unfortunately far from the rest of the hotel. The scrambled eggs were "sandy" as if prepared from powder; sausages, mushrooms and bacon were cold. When asked about this, the staff apologized and took note. Nevertheless, we had to pay 50CHF (2× breakfast) in full. So once you already leave a lot of money (room, dinner, bar) and then have to pay in addition for something you have not actually used, this unfortunately clouds the stay and the impression is: money before guest.

The air conditioning did not work throughout the night. This made the room hot and stuffy. we were unable to get a good night’s sleep. we could not open windows as mosquitoes would enter the room. The following morning was unproductive due to lack of sleep. The cleaning staff were in a hurry to clean up and it was quite stressful to try to explain that we were not ready, mainly due to language barrier. i would not recommend this hotel for the summer months.
