I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gästis. The charming old-fashioned ambiance, along with the attentive staff, provided a comfortable and welcoming experience. The breakfast was good, and the overall cozy atmosphere of the hotel made it a great place to unwind and relax. I highly recommend Hotel Gästis to anyone seeking a pleasant and hospitable stay.

I stayed there for one night with my partner to enjoy a nice evening in the spa and relax in the hotel. Was very lovely, friendly staff, super clean and very comfortable beds. The size of the room we stayed in was amazing, bigger than most average hotel rooms. Nice decor & good breakfast

I’d say price wise it’s a bit high for it not being a big hotel but it’s slapped right in the town center and not to far from the beach so it’s somewhat understandable

The overall experience was superb! The room was very spacious and the decoration and the equipment very good and representing of a new experience, never seen before. The breakfast area followed the same experience and the breakfast itself was european and met the overall superb experience! Highly advisable to visit the hotel!

I would wish to have a 24h open reception desk! And be able to sit in the common areas longer! Nothing else that I did not like though...

Amazing spa and you dont have to pay a lot to use it. Fantastic place if you love books. Friendly staff, very good breakfast, great location.

The beds were not that comfortable and there was no shampoo in the bathroom (usually in hotels there are small shampoo bottles).

Very spectacular with paintings and books all over the place. Old fashion style, but comfortable. The SPA with Lenin memorabilia is extraordinary and well worth a visit! Good breakfast. Location is very good in city center.

Quite a lot of stairs, which is difficult with luggage.

The girl at the reception was very kind. She made you feel very welcome at the hotel. Hotel looks amazing, really different than other hotels!

The bath that was pushed in the existing shower made it hard to have a good shower.

Original, cosy hotel with unique interior and ambiente. Very good breakfast, many cosy places to dwell around. Unique spa and wellness. Good location in the city-center and near the beaches and castle. Bike-rental on site.

No free car-park nearby.

Our room, the Selma Lagerlöf room, was very cold and in that sense uncomfortable. Also, one does need hangers for clothes.

I liked the hotel atmosphere, decorated with Persian carpets, old candle holders, loads of books everywhere, and relaxing music in background in the lobby. Staff were friendly and charming. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel bar beer collection was satisfying. Breakfast was also nice.

Breakfast was not safe with regards to corona situation, since it was open buffet, everybody was using the same knife for example to cut the bread.. etc. would have been better if hotel could provide single use/disposable plastic gloves.
