Airhostel Barcelona Airport 24h

Overall nice, welcoming and helpful staff. Check-in and check-out times were flexible. The shower was great. The rooms were clean. Staff came in the shower room to clean from time to time. Comfortable beds with curtains. The room members were amicable and respectful. There was a shuttle service from the hostel to the airport terminal which was safe and quick for a reasonable price. Once again my appreciation goes out to the kindness of the staff. Thank you for the great stay!

Unfortunately in the price was not included a towel (€2,50) as well as a vertical locker in the room (€1). There was locker free to use in the room, but under the beds. A lot of noise came with stowing away the luggage under the beds. This can be frustrating for the other members in the room especially while they are asleep in the late evening and early morning. The vertical lockers cost €1. While it is a small price to pay for a towel and vertical locker, I think it would have been nice if it could be used for free and it was already included in the total price to begin with.

Super close to the airport and there is even a cheap paid shuttle option (ask at front desk) as I had a super early flight. It is located in a residential area so you can see what the real day to day life is like for local Barcelonians including local restaurants (think untouristy unlike Barcelona)

As it is a hostel for airport travellers, pls be aware that you may not have the best nights sleep as there were people leaving/arriving throughout the night so if youre a light sleeper, you may not have the best sleep.

Close to the airport. Conveniant. Comfortabel beds.

Long way to city center. No restaurants in the neighborhood. Wrong info about taxi to airport. Said to cost about 25 Euro so we booked hostel shuttle for 17 (for 2). But taxi taxameter was only 12 Euro when we got to the airport. Took only 15 min early morning.

The staff is named Pablo, he was super nice staff. The hostel's location is very convenient from the airport, making it ideal for late night arrivals and early morning departures. The transfer to and from the airport costs €7 and is done in a taxi-like vehicle. I found this very convenient for people taking late night or early morning flights as it is so much cheaper than taking a taxi.Also feel safe. The area near the hostel area is dangerous even for Spaniards walking alone, because it is said to be a dangerous area in the night. The price of breakfast was felt to be inexpensive.

There did not seem to be a good handover between staff. The beds near the doorway of the room are in and out and wake up many times.

Super hostel! I recommend it unequivocally. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Comfortable mattresses, clean bedding, warm blanket in the comforter, good pillows. Private beds, there are curtains. Shelf, hook, personal light, under beds personal storage for things. In the room there are lockers for clothes with locks (you need to throw 1 euro), shoe rack, chairs. Lovely kitchen, cozy stylish corridors, modern clean bathrooms. Lovely showers with shampoo and shower gel.

The only thing I would change would be to include the cost of a towel (2.5 euros) in the room rate and put one for every visitor. So you don't have to go to the reception. I think this is inconvenient, we have not encountered this anywhere else.

The hostel is really great. Especially I love the comfortable mattress at dormitory, I have problem with my back and I usually don't expect to sleep well or long but at that hostel that was incredible) The shower and toilet were all clean and with all the needed cosmetics, toilet paper, hair dryer. Receptionists very friendly and helpful.

The only thing I didn't really like was poor breakfast options, coffee from coffee pods machine, no juice. So I only have sandwich and cup of coffee. But generally for the price I paid for breakfast, probably its ok.

Excellent location, there is a bus connecting it to the airport, good price compared to nearby hotels. Great that there are blinding court sins (still a bit see through) and sockets close to each bed.

Room was super hot or too cold so I could not sleep at all, impossible to control the temperature as remote was locked in a box and could only be switched on (you couldn't even change if it was making warm or cold air). There is not a window but a door, so either you completely open the door (which bothers the people who have the bed just in front) or need to rely on the aircon (see above -_-). Doors are very noisy, which in a hostel where people come and go the time is not the best.

The location from Barcelona el prat airport is very good! There are direct metros and busses you can take even at odd hours. And the bus stop or metro station is only 5 minutes walking distance to the Hostel. The hostel also made sure you know your transport options of getting there from the airport with great details. The staff were also very responsive to messages which was nice to have before our arrival. We booked private room with only 2 bunk beds to share. We were actually pleasantly surprised by the room size relative to hostels in general. We even had a balcony in our room. The bathroom and facilities are new and clean. Breakfast is good and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. A perfect spot for one night layover. The price for two people one night including breakfast is actually rather good value for money.

The duvet sheets on one of our beds were actually stained and it looked like it wasn't changed with a new one. Other than that it was good.

The hostel is very clean, the beds are very comfortable, there is a huge locker under the bed, so it can fit even big suitcases (mine was a 23kg type), all the beds have thick curtains, so the light outside doesnt disturb a lot. Generally, the hostel is very quiet and almost empty during the day, I guess most people only go to sleep because its near the airport. What I loved the most is that there's a table inside the bedroom, so its very chill to work there. But there are also other spaces where you can work from there in case you're remote working.

There's no stove, which could be a downside for some people, but I think it helps to keep the kitchen very clean and pleasant.

Overall great quality, especially given the price. Rooms were clean and fresh and the curtains in each bed are definitely a great addition. Bathrooms were also clean, never crowded and the water pressure was better than in some way more expensive hotels I’ve been in. The staff is super nice and always ready to help.

Most people arrived/left in the middle of the night so I would definitely recommend earplugs. The breakfast wasn’t anything special, not a lot of variety especially if you have dietary restrictions. It’s far from the centre but the trip is worth it if you’re trying to save money in accommodation (and it ends up being cheap if you get the hola Barcelona card)
