Carslogie House

We only stayed here for 1 night, and this is the only place I would have wanted to stayed longer just for the hotel! The rooms were nice and clean, and the shower was the best shower I've had since we arrived in SA. The pool looked great too, but unfortunately we didn't have time to swim. We arrived in the afternoon and left early in the morning, so we asked for a breakfast to go when we arrived. Unfortunately the staff was already gone and wouldn't be there yet when we wanted to leave, so the host made us a breakfast which was very kind. He also gave us a lot of tips about the roads in the area. I'd reccomend!

As soon as they knew we're Vegan they provide us a delicious plant based breakfast (and went above and beyond offering us some homemade muffins). - Room is impeccably clean with a very comfy bed and a perfect functioning shower. - Quiet yard with a pool perfect for relaxing. - Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping mall.

The Catalogue House is a lovely place to stay. The room and facilities are very clean and nice and the hosts are really friendly as well. The rooms entrances are at the pool so you can lay directly at the pool in front of your room. Breakfast was also very good. It's just a couple minutes walk towards the beach! Summary: it was a pleasant stay for the short overnight we did in PE.

We were 2 ladies alone so the environment maybe didn't feel the safest as you need to walk about 2 streets to get to the more crowded area. But this is the case for a lot of places in South Africa so as long as you don't go out after dark or with a lot of valuables it is all good. The hosts helped us out and made sure to wait for the Uber together with when we were leaving with our bags. So that was appreciated!

Comfortable and spacious room, thoughtfully equipped with fridge, kettle and ground coffee. Pretty planting around the pool. Breakfast was delicious with lovely fruit salad and good choice of cooked breakfasts which were delicious. Kind hospitality from Christine and the lovely woman who works with her.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable and featured everything we needed for a short stay. The gardens and pool are beautifully maintained. Breakfast was one of the best on our trip. The location is ideal for exploring the nearby beaches.

Everything was perfect!

I last stayed here in 2019 and my second stay did not disappoint me. I will stay here again. This guesthouse is within easy working distance from the sea and restaurants, and also not far from the airport. The Summerstrand area is very pleasant and well maintained. I went for a walk and felt quite safe.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We were given a warm welcome and the accommodation was outstanding value for money. Great room , very comfortable and clean. The swimming pool was a bonus and breakfast very good. It took about 10 mins. to walk to the pier / shopping centre so very accessible and really pleased we booked. Shame we only stayed one night passing through.

Amazing plance, nice rooms and facilites. The breakfast room is very well decorated. It was the perfect place for us staring our vacation on the Garden Route.

The only complain I have that there was only one plugs in our room. That makes it difficult to charge all our electroni devises.

Christine was very friendly and welcoming and fixed us a delicious breakfast. The Carslogie House has a very nice yard with a pool which is perfect for relaxing. The accommodation is also quite close to the beach and some good restaurants.
