Good location, nice room and view

The hotel does not have any beach access at all. You need to go out and go along the car road to public beach. Breakfasts and dinners are not very good. Every morning we spent 10-15 min in queue to have a breakfast. They've been making a bridge to the beach for quite a long time. In fact the bridge could be constructed over a weekend.

Amazing facilities, location & staff. Accommodation excellent, we booked a superior double and on arrival, found that we were upgraded. Snorkelling excellent!! Stingrays, baby lemon sharks everyday, close to wall/walkway every day. Saw turtles & diversity in tropical fish. Saw giant tortoises & even a tame & *flying fox* to feed on the beach, if you buy fruit from the vendor. Thank you for an amazing holiday. Huge thanks to the very informative & helpful security guards at the beach gate.

Food/drinks very expensive compared to local cousine/shops. Huge amount of options, in the area. Buffet SCR795, which as small eaters we couldn't join. Portion sizes and food options on buffets *breakfast & dinner* were huge.

This hotel is great if you want to unwind and hang out for a few days at the Infinity pool which is beautiful overlooking the sea. Lovely grounds and garden. Due to Covid some services eete reduced which is expected. Staff are friendly and in abundance. It's a 25 minute walk to the beach shack and the streets are not well lit and shorter via the beach but also not lit, hence my comment of hanging around the property which is relaxing and the food good. Breakfast is good and wholesome. There is no real beach access and no lying on sunbeds on the beach due to its location. All in all it was a relaxing comfortable experience. If you are looking to lie at the beach on s sunbed, this hotel is not for you but I believe they are doing something about that. Would visit again to just unwind.

I like the whole concept, it is a hotel with tradition, long history / one of the first on the island/ and personnel is well trained.Food is delicious, I liked the French restaurant and also the buffet dinners-really compliments to the chef.The room with bath tub in the middle.The fact that the owner is the same as The Story hotel and they share facilities.

If people do not like, they do not have good taste.Of course some things might be worn out, but style is style, a good concept is a good concept...

The reception and the staff are all very friendly. The surrounding was clean and well maintained. Pool area looked lovely. If something was not quite working but you could call reception and it got solved. We even received in one case a nice bottle of some Champaign as compensation. The food in the bar and in the restaurant Paris Seychelles was excellent. Breakfast buffet was quite good

Dinner at main restaurant didn't convince us much. Working togheter between Fisherman's Cove and Story hotel could be improved. They should more actively promote the use of the SPA at Story. Also some of the activities as using canoes could have been better promoted. They might even establish some kind of small shuttle between the two of them eg. if you want to go for dinner there.

The hotel is beautiful. The location is very nice. Our room (oceanfront suite) was very spacious and literally just by the ocean.

The hotel needs serious maintenance and renewal. The faucets/shower in the rooms are leaking, the bed needs a paint. The sliding door opening outside is broken. The planks around the pool are broken at some points. The food selection in the hotel is not very wide and the food quality is not the best. The most important part is that the hotel does not have beach access even though it is literally on the beach. You have to go out of the hotel, walk on the side of a road for 5 minutes to reach the beach.

The location was very nice on the northwest coast of Mahe, staff very friendly and helpful. we had a very nice room with full shower and bath overlooking the ocean through the patio doors. Natasha was very helpful in doing our booking and adding services.

Location. It's at the southern end of Beau Vallon beach. You canwalk along the beach (1.5 miles) to other beach side hotels. Snack & beach bars.

Fishermans Cove is one of the original hotels on the main island of Mahe. The staff are really nice and friendly. The food is very good. But...it does need some work done to it. It's sister hotel next door ( The Story Hotel) is new and modern. I would still stay at the Fishermans Cove though. It still has that 'old world charm' from the 70's.

The room was very comfortable and offered a great view of the ocean. Access was through the parking lot which made getting to car easy. The breakfast was outstanding and offered a variety of local fruit, some cheeses and cold cuts, pancakes, sausages, bacon, fresh omelettes, a variety of breads, juices, Perrier water, and for the non-business travellers even champagne. The staff a very helpful and very friendly. Location is perfect on the quiet side of Beau-Vallon and access to the beach for a daily walk is easy. Ample security on the premises. This hotel is a good choice and offers good value for the money. The Marine conservation society on location will lend you a snorkel and fins and the reefs that are located in front of the hotel offer nice location to snorkel.

The night time menu at the local pool side restaurant offers limited options.

The service from the staff and manager was excellent. Lynn - the Operations manager was very helpful. Always there to make our experience outstanding. Breakfast views were brilliant. All coffee options were available during breakfast including a choice of almond milk and other non-diary options. Paddle boards and snorkelling gear was provided for in-house guests free of charge. The resort is located on Beau Vallon Beach which has a beautiful beach to swim and relax on, and has many restaurants, few souvenir shops, food trucks etc. All these were around 1 km walking from the resort on the beach. The garden all around the resort is magnificent with lots of palm trees, traveller palms, starfish fruit trees etc. The resort has a tie up with Story Seychelles next door and we got 20% discount on all restaurants / spa at the Story.

Nothing really but if I have to clarify, the resort doesn't have a beach outside the property so no beach beds. But enough sun beds on the pool. The beach just starts when you exit from the hotel so can take a beach towel and go and lounge on the beach. We had a family room since we had 2 kids with us. But this room does not have an enclosed shower area. It's an open bathroom with some curtains so had to be very careful while showering if the kids were sitting in the room.
