Safir Hotel Doha

Having landed very early in the morning. I arrived well before the official check in time, I understood that I would have to wait a few hours to check in. But taking a chance, I asked the front desk staff if there was any way they might make an exception, as I was obviously exhausted. While they politely reminded me of the standard check-in times, and why they have them, they also said they would do their best to accommodate me. Within an hour, they checked me in. I was under no illusions that this was an act of basic compassion and kindness. I return to Safir Hotel because the staff are outstanding, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough because of them. Mr Tameem, Ms Christine, Ms Rosalie, Mr Razu, and the security staff, always leave a lasting impression on me that renders Safir my very first choice anytime I am ready to book hotel accommodation in Doha. If I stay anywhere else, it's because Safir are already fully booked, and I was too slow! Thank you again Safir! I will be back!!

My only issue with Safir is something they can do nothing about - their location. And to be fair, it's not that bad!

I would like to share my positive review of the hotel we stayed at during our recent stopover on the way from Australia to Europe. The hotel provided excellent accommodation and service, and we were particularly pleased with their flexibility and attentiveness. Upon our early morning arrival at 7 am, the hotel was able to accommodate us and provided us with two rooms. Although the rooms were not adjacent, we were delighted to find that they were located on the same floor, which was convenient for our group. One aspect that stood out was the hotel's consideration for our booking. We had reserved a room with breakfast included, but since we checked out at 10 pm on the same day, we were unable to have breakfast the following morning. However, the hotel allowed us to enjoy breakfast on the day of our arrival, despite checking out at 10 am. This gesture of flexibility and understanding was truly commendable. Overall, our experience at the hotel was exceptional and provided great value for money. It served as a perfect stopover on our journey from Australia to Europe. We were impressed with the level of service, the comfortable rooms, and the opportunity to have an early morning breakfast.

I chose this hotel because I understood they had a Suttle service to the hotel. However the hotel quoted a price that was four times more expensive than the cost of using a ride-sharing service like Uber. To provide some context, the hotel's price for a return trip for a family of 5 was 250 QAR, while the Uber return fare was only 60 QAR Considering the significant price difference, using Uber or a similar service is a much more cost-effective option for transportation to the airport

Overall great value for money. Hot beverages provided, mineral water too. Comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The AC can get very cold…

1. Fittings and fixtures are not very sturdy. In my case, the steel rack in the shower was about to detach. 2. Though not a con, the room’s design to me is old-fashioned. 3. The AC in my room is noisy. I could’ve asked a technician to help solve the issue, but I figured I could still live with it for a short 2 night stay.

it was amazing , the hotel is clean , the location is near to 2 metro stations addoha aljadida and almansouria , supermarket is also near , the hotel is 2 min walking to souk alharaj , the stuff is proffessional i still remember MISS CHRISTINE smile , she is in front desk and welcomes every guest warmly , i felt realy at home among my family , i don't forget the security guy with his warm greeting sure it will be my usual comodity in DOHA.

This hotel is an excellent choice for budget Travellers. Everything is spotless clean. Rooms are serviced every day. Well equipped rooms with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. Friendly staff. Good WiFi. Food is very good. Swimming pool on the roof. The hotel is close to 2 metro stations. If you get here by metro from the airport, take exit 1, as crossing the streets in Doha often requires long detours.

I wish the pool bar was open, so food and drinks could have been ordered there.

Safir is very good hotel, very clean with good room with comfortable degree, hospitality and very nice staff specially the receptionist Catherine and the cleaner Ali all there are very cooperative and helpful.

the location of the hotel, the room, cleansing, the hospitality of the staff, Gym, and swimming pool the facility of transportation in the area. shopping and the restaurant in the area is easy. There is a professional dealing with every thing.

The front desk staff are exceptional. In particular, Christine on the front desk is outstanding. Always cheerful, professional, courteous, efficient and unfailingly helpful. Even though the location of this hotel is not ideal, I happily return repeatedly because of the excellent experience I receive from all the staff, including the security team who are always friendly and alert, even at super early times of the morning.

Location!

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for 6 days and it has excellent staff and impeccable cleanliness, is situated in a prime location where easy access to Metro/Taxi services, and also restaurants, and grocery shops are available, The Hotel has convenient parking, WiFi/TV & Tea/Coffee facilities. Recommend staying at this hotel without any second thought!

I wasn't happy with the room....cos I couldn't get the room i pay for.....I chose a superior room but unfortunately she gave me a small room, bed 🛌 712.....painful side of it, I went to approach her thinking she may do something about it but no. Pls something like this experience shouldn't happen again. it's really hurt 😮‍💨...thnx, sir?

Actually, I was a bit skeptical about this hotel before booking it, but everything went brilliant during my stay at this hotel. I cannot say any thing negative about, because you get more value for the money you paid. You have great location near Al Doah Al Jadeeda metro station or if you need to get to DECC by taxi, then it will cost you apprx 27 QR to get there. Also, you will see other Doha and get comparison between city business center and real Doha. The staff is very helpful and ready to provide help.
