Hello. I apologize for the delay in posting the impressions of my stay at your hotel. Indeed, I got busy with other tasks and obligations and, unforgivably, I forgot. Thank you for everything. We spent a few dream days, everything was perfect. Flawless. Cleanliness - impeccable. The position - excellent. The room - gorgeous. Your and Mr. Richard's kindness exceeded expectations. Practically, it is the ideal place for vacation with the family. Central, quiet, clean, very kind hosts, a tasteful, elegant place. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. There wasn't anything we didn't like! Because the location reaches the superlative.

We had the most delightful stay at Casa Saudade luxury rooms in Faro! From the moment we arrived, We were greeted by the charming ambiance of the surrounding street filled with restaurants and quaint cafes. Despite the bustling scene, We were pleasantly surprised that the evening remained tranquil and peaceful, allowing for a perfect night's rest. As we entered the hotel, we met by the warm and welcoming French owners, Kirsten and Richard. Their genuine friendliness and helpfulness made my stay truly special. They provided invaluable advice on the best things to do in Faro, ensuring that I made the most of my time in this enchanting city. Our accommodations in the "Amalfi" room were nothing short of luxurious. The room was incredibly spacious, with a stunning wooden floor that added a touch of elegance. There was ample room for three people, and the beds were a dream to sleep in – comfortable and inviting after a day of exploration. One of the highlights of Casa Saudade was its unbeatable location. Situated in the heart of Faro, everything was within walking distance. From the charming streets to the must-see attractions, We were able to explore the city with ease, knowing I had a cozy haven to return to. In this digital age, a reliable Wi-Fi connection is essential, and Casa Saudade didn't disappoint. The strong and stable Wi-Fi allowed me to stay connected. Reflecting on our time at Casa Saudade luxury rooms, I am already looking forward to returning. The combination of its fantastic location, spacious and inviting rooms, friendly owners, and impeccable service make it a top choice for my future visits to Faro. We wholeheartedly recommend Casa Saudade to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay in this picturesque city.

Location is excellent, 5 minute walk to train and bus stations and to the old town, several restaurants just outside the door. Very clean, spacious, room with high ceilings, small nicely appointed kitchen attached to room, large shower, good tv and wifi. Quiet, nice linens. A welcome book is provided.

The only reason I am not scoring this place a 10 is the stairs. When you first open the door to the Casa you are met with over 15 very steep stone stairs to get up to your room. If you had suitcases which we did not or were unable to climb stairs, you are out of luck. There was no mention of such stairs in the Casa description. The owners communicate by What’s App and we never met them, used a key box to enter the room. Should advertise thie stairs on their listing.

The accommodation was pristine and spacious. We were in one of two suites and it was very well equipped - had we been staying longer, we could certainly have cooked in the well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, with cafes, bars and restaurants on our doorstep … literally! I was concerned that we might find that noisy in the evenings, but we weren’t really aware of noise from the street below. The owner was at the property when we arrived and, despite us showing up earlier than the stated check-in, she was welcoming and happy to accommodate us within around thirty minutes …. and we were happy to sample the local beer in the cafe downstairs while we waited.

We couldn’t find fault. it was perfect!

Kristin and Richard have thought of everything that you possibly need. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed large and supportive and the style reflected the originality of the property. We loved the high ceiling, tall doors and curtains. The location was excellent with plenty of places to eat, drink and get breakfast. Faro certainly seems to be turning into a destination for tourists wanting to stay overnight so there's some life on the streets.

The steps are steep up to the rooms so beware. The bar on the street outside could be noisy and also every bar, cafe and restaurant below on the street has to put away every table and chair when closing up so bear this in mind in the early hours.

Communication before and during the visit was very good. Casa Saudada is in the Main Street which is full of restaurants a short walk to the marina and the old city. As we had the room at the front it was a little noisy. However, the property was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Breakfast wasn’t included but there were restaurants in the street that were open.

Check out is 10am and Casa Saudada couldn’t hold out bags until we left Faro later in the day. However, Richard took us to a nearby shop who offered a service but it took time to download the Nannybag app, make the payment etc. i personally didn’t find the bed very comfortable.

We only had one night's stay at Casa Saudade, but can recommend it highly. Although we never met our hosts, communications by text were good - and access via a key box was straight forward. Located with immediate access to the harbour, Old Town, bus terminal and train station, the apartment's location is second to none. Although our room was above a busy pedestrian street of restaurants and cafes with outside dining, the double glazed french doors kept out the noise - and we loved watching day to day life below from our balcony. The apartment, in an old and characterful building, was spacious and immaculate - and the decor and furnishings look very new. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen provided everything we needed and the modern bathroom had a plentiful supply of hot water.

Having to leave! We would have loved a few more nights at Casa Sauda!

Kristin was wonderful with suggestions and even had binoculars and beach towels and blankets for us to use on excursions. The location is close to everything we were interested in seeing. The room was large and the kitchen was a nice plus.

We do tend to retire early 10pm (early for the area) and it was loud when other guests came back at night and the music from the businesses on the street below goes until midnight. It was a minor inconvenience and maybe because we were in the front of the building.

Excellent location lovely owner couldn't be more helpful. Would recommend ideal base in centre of resort easy walk to marina and Old Town. Bars and restaurants outside door. Despite location extremely quiet with windows closed at night

Only issue for us stairs .Only thing annoying was the noise from floor creaking when walking at night to toilet etc .But not an easy fix or easily remedied. Didn't spoil the stay though just a little niggle

Everything was perfect. Beautiful room excellent facilities. The location in the heart of the city was wonderful. Close to the harbour, cafés and bars just outside. Thanks to efficient soundproofing we didn't hear a thing at night but had the benefit of being in the centre of life. The owner is so kind and helpful and gave us lots of advice about what to see and do, including arranging a boat trip for us on New Year's Eve. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon.
