Casas Novas Countryside Hotel Spa & Events

The welcome was lovely. The location - extremely quiet with fantastic views and ample on-site outdoor parking with no height restrictions. The rooms were spacious and clean with a huge outdoor terrace area. There was an on-site restaurant and bar. I would recommend both the food and wine as they were both fantastic. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the young waiter in the restaurant who couldn't have been any more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and definitely good value for money.

Great place to relax and as a base to explore the area. Indoor and outdoor pools were amazing including sauna and jacuzzi. Room good size with firm bed. Breakfast buffet was sufficient. Congratulations to owners for recovering and creating an amazing space. Staff attentive.

Extraction fan in bathroom was not working and seemed that there was no air movement in internal or corridor area...but not a major issue.

Beautiful house with perfect decorations and cared gardens. The swimming pool was big and deep. The bedroom was big and the bed is huge (2m wide) and comfortable. Big balcony with a good view and with privacy.

Noisy breakfast/dinning room because of an malfunctioning machine. Our room was quite hot (even though our stay was in may) and the AC wasn’t cool enough to solve it. the blinds on the bedroom did not close completely and let the sunlight come in. There are a few things that need to be fixed like the lights next to the pool.

The small but truly dedicated team behind all this beautifully maintained resort, deserves all the credit! You will see the same faces at check-in, breakfast, at the bar making your gin&juice, mowing the lawn and serving you dinner. The place is peaceful, quiet and hard to leave behind. Thank you for everything.

Beautiful location and beautiful property

AC didn’t work it locked comfortable pillows  both Jacuzzis in the pool didn’t work  when we arrive the best of the booking they could’ve put in another room since the hotel was empty but they didn’t and my 15-year-old daughter slept in a small and comfortable bed 

The hotel is located in a calm area perfect for resting; The spa and pools were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful; The restaurante menu had 2 vegetarian options;

The room sometimes smelled of sewage; The hotel should hire more staff as we felt like one person was doing the job of 2/3 people leaving the reception or the bar with no one to attend us.

Breakfast was good and tasty, the spa is amazing for relaxing , the property is well taken care for and the bedrooms are nice.

The 11am checkout hour cut a bit the enjoyment of the facilities on the day we left. A couple more hours or late checkout upon availability would be nice!

The entire stay, from the moment of checking in, to checking out was so efficient and friendly. It felt like staying with family! Delicious, well prepared and exquisitely presented meals and desert's. Very clean hotel. Exceptional service.

We loved the design and mix of old and new architecture. It had history and the facilities were great, the area was good and the staff arranged a wine tour for us nearby. The staff were super helpful and accommodating.

Nothing really. I’d only suggest the pool should stay open a bit later than 8pm. Also if t would be nice to have a bit more furnishing on the room terraces.

The rooms are cosy, with a very nice patio and scenery to the traditional regional setting. The SPA is clean and agreeable. The restaurant is top-notch!! The food is excellent!! Traditional local cuisine with great taste!!!

Although warm and comfortable, considering it is an old manor turned into a hotel, there could be a lite fireplace somewhere to give a bit more rural touch and vibe to the place.
