Hard to find something negative ...apart that the toilet paper they use, could be upgraded! Yes, this is an important item

_Uncomfortable pillows. It could be the option of memory foam pillow type _Carpets that leave an unpleasant smell in the room _ Outdated Check-in experience: It's unbelievable that we are in 2023 and we still have a check-in process with a lot of frictions and paper to fulfill and non-GDPR compliant documents printing. Booking.com could provide an online checking feature to solve the pain point for the hotels hosted in their platform

We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay outside the city but not too far from it. Access to the golf course was also a bonus for us. What made the stay exceptional were the people working for this Resort. Lourdes and Cristal at the front desk were nothing short of exceptional and Jennifer at the Concierge desk went above and beyond to ensure that we could do the activities we wanted to do. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well as the band they chose to play during one of our evenings eating at the restaurant. Yes, would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Panama!

We were assigned a room that did not have a good view but it wasn't such a big deal :)

I loved the welcoming energies of the staff. I was nervous about my Spanish skills and everyone was willing to work with me as re-learned some of the language. Everyone was exceptional but there were some that stood out, Nubia, Leonardo, Enzo, at the pool bar; Kimberly and Kathleen at the front desk to name a few. I will love to return there the next visit to Panama. The room was great, we had a balcony so we got to enjoy the live music from our room while we got ready to enjoy it in person. And yoga/meditation on the balcony in the morning or evening was great for me personally. Bestali in the spa is super helpful and has a great energy. I highly recommend if you are going as a couple to get the couples spa package, that couples scrub is some sexy ish. And it help the slight sun burn I got the day before. Room service was fast. The gym is really good as well. Taxis were always available and our drivers were the best and like tour guides when they'd drive us places. We had no issues with theft. Room cleaned daily. Overall we loved our stay and expectations were met.

The food was not the best. I loved the short rib taco each time. The sea bass ceviche was hit or miss. The breakfast is good if you go early and eat things fresh and hot. There was confusion about booking outings and excursions.

Overall this was a great stay. Our flight was cancelled out of Panama City to Peru so we stayed here for one night. The bed was super comfy and the grounds were nice. It was a bit more expensive than hotels a bit closer to airport but it had no airport noise and was a quick ride to the airport in the morning.

We should have just called Uber. The "taxi" they arranged for the morning was $35 for a 10-minute ride. We stayed in Panama for 2 nights on the return (not here) and this is not convenient to tourist destinations.

Best value for money in a long time! Wonderful, beautifully designed hotel, with spacious fully equipped room, amazing breakfast and restaurants. Staff was very attentive - allowing us an early check in and providing us with complimentary coffee. Spa, pool and massages are fantastic and staff also amazing. From the moment we entered everything was super smooth thanks to the great dedication of the staff. Will definitely come back to this oasis of tranquillity and relaxation.

Every detail of Santa Maria Luxury hotel was fantastic, not a single complaint.

The location was pretty good, the pool was really nice and I really liked the set up and the overall hotel layout. I also liked that there are options for snacking (a Deli Cafe at the lobby) and that the staff lets you know all useful information beforehand. Staff was really friendly too.

The attention at the pool area was kind of poor. There was a lady that came to pick up our empty glasses, we asked for more cold water and half an hour passed and the lady was nowhere to be seen and nobody else from the staff approached us. We left the pool and never got our water.

I really like the location as the property was quiet and in a nice area but also close to the city, which was only a 10 minute drive.

Some of the dishes where too salty, such as the Gnocchi sauce and the pork in the Asian steam buns. However, I really enjoyed the breakfast, the short ribs and the chicken wings were fantastic!

this is a beautiful property with attention to detail - with great views of city skyline or golf course. The food at the restaurant was delicious and not that expensive given what a lovely hotel it is. the staff were super friendly and helpful. Generous with water bottles in the rooms, delicious chocolates, and quality coffee. the pool is beautiful and staff are great but not overbearing. I really loved it all.

The property was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and well kept. It was easy to navigate and inviting. The staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful and attentive. The gentleman at the pool was very attentive and kind. The rooms were so comfortable and spacious. They cleaned and tidied the room twice throughout the day which was amazing.
