Fraser Suites Abuja

I absolutely loved the serenity, and everything about this hotel; especially as i had my 5 years old with me during my stay . The suites were very clean and cosy. We stayed in a Studio Premier, which was quite spacious. There was a work station for when i needed to work. The gym was well equipped and i loved the fact that only one person could be in there at a time. The Lobby and Atrium are lovely for pictures if you enjoy photography like i do. We loved the Gazebo (The smoothies, suya, burgers etc) and the swimming pool area, though we didn’t get to use the pool as it rained almost daily during our stay. The professionalism of the entire staff i came in contact with was so amazing, the list is endless; from the front desk (Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed, Stella and Hafsat), to the concierge (especially Friday who went an extra mile to check us in) the cleaners (thanks Blessing and everyone else who cleaned our suite) The entire restaurant staff who catered for our breakfast needs daily We will definitely recommend here if you’re visiting Abuja, especially if you have kids. It was home away from home for us, we even extended our stay.

As an amateur photographer, I absolutely love higher floors and rooms with a view which i did request for during my booking, however, i couldn’t get a suite on a high floor nor one with a lovely view of the city, so i was stuck with staring at the hotel gate daily for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, as a result of this, i couldn’t do any photography of the city from my suite

Breakfast was fantastic, great variety of meal choices. Crop of great staff that strive to satisfy customers. Good team spirit among staff delivering world class standard.

One of the pot in the kitchenette did not work with the induction cooker. It was however changed to another that was compatible on request. This caused some delay in cooking.

The location is central since it’s located within the Abuja Central Business District and so it’s easy to find and get transport to. The architecture and finishing of the hotel building. The general ambience and beauty of the common areas and the rooms. The rooms were beautifully decorated and generously presented with lots of free snacks, drinks and beverages. The pool is awesome! The gym is also awesome! The Italian restaurant and Cafe on the premises. The attention to Security. The fact that when you say to family and friends that you are staying in Fraser Suites…they smile and go “wow”. Easy to connect to the Highway that takes you straight to the airport.

The check in process was unpleasant. They didn’t have a POS that could process my US credit cards, which by the way, I have successfully done at other hotels in Nigeria! They apologized for it, but that doesn’t solve the problem. I was able to pay with my Nigerian bank debit card, which initially failed for to network issues they had, but that was hours later when the hotel called and disrupted my dinner with family! No light music anywhere in the hotel to enhance the look and feel with pleasant sounds. Some of the common area carpets need to be replaced. Only one restaurant on site.

The bathroom shower in the room needs an update

It is amazingly incredible to find an hotel in Abuja to observe Covid protocols so efficiently that you start doubting you are in Nigeria . The staff are so friendly and willing to help you in any way to make your stay comfortable . It is definitely home away from home with all the available items(cooker , microwave, toaster and even washing machine !) to make you feel comfortable .

The lift allows only guests with access cards but the staircase is free for anyone to pass through without a security.

It was my second time staying there but it felt like first time. Since Nov 2020, the quality did not reduce, in fact the opposite. The apartment really felt like home as I was with my family. Excellent in general.

Nothing really

Staff are excellent, very helpful. The room was very nice and the dining room and outside gazebo area lovely.

Would have liked a bathtub. Also, food was ok, not great.

I think the cost should be less given it is in Nigeria

Very luxurious, clean, professional, Covid-conscious (room is really sealed after being sanitized until the next guest arrives), security (room key needed even in the elevator), very quiet, private, thoughtful (the personalized welcome message on my tv when I entered took my breath away!), everything I expected and more...

Swimming pool was very cold for me which I assume was because, unlike other pools in Abuja, the gigantic building casts shadow on it for a good part of the day. Might consider installing a heating system.

Amazing service all round, polite smiling staff, very clean and very convenient especially kid friendly. The pool is massive and beautiful poolside with amazing ambiance. The breakfast is also ace.

The service by the pool is somewhat slow but delicious food and drinks. No alcohol is served in the hotel which is a bummer.
