Ascot Oamaru Motel

Location was good. Unit is a good size. Bathroom was great. Bed and pillows were comfy.

Couple of minor things need fixed. Curtain in corner on room had come off its runners and wouldnt close properly which means when the lights are on people can see in when walking past. Its missing the hooks so hubby couldnt hang it back up again. Also the blind above sink is broken so doesn't open or close. Makes the room too dark. Also doesn't quite cover the window so a curtain there would provide more privacy, stop the street light glaring in through them too considering it faces the street.

Very good pre-stay communication, flexible re us needing an early key pick up. Friendly staff/proprietors. Excellent studio unit, very comfortable and warm for us three.

I named the older style heatpump the fire dragon about 4am as it was a bit noisy... But seriously that's a minor complaint, the room, facilities, location, staff and tariff were excellent.. Will definitely book again.

Booking. com stuffed my booking up. Booked 2 rooms but when I phoned a couple hrs before turning up they had only booked the one and put everyone in it. . The owner when out of her way to help us out as only had a single room left but got a single bed from some where and set it up. Thank heaps

The carpet could do with being cleaned as it looks like someone has dripped something all over it and the glass table and bathroom door could do with a good clean as there were dark hand prints on the bathroom door and the glass table was a bit marked

The Shower was great, no plug for the basin , beds were good good pillows, very limited kitchen utensils available, unit was of good size, parking outside unit was maginal, but parking was available away from unit.

could not connect to the internet, TV was very small. office was not open all the time & closed early.

Overall it was awesome lovely lady owner. Close to everything and had a bar, restaurant, and a gaming area for the family bowling alley aswell.

Our shower in one of the rooms shower door was broken and a little bit of a leak in the shower also.

Great price for the amount of space. Great bathroom and kitchen facilities. Comfortable couch. Great table.

Wifi was a bit slow. Some of the bed covers, and chairs, could have been cleaner. But these things were completely outweighed by all the positives.

The location was perfect next to the pub and restaurant

Nothing it was perfect price was excellent a and recptionist was very friendly and grandsons were a delight thank you so much would definitely book there again cheers

The restaurant was next door very handy for meals, I had a great sleep every night great location not too far to drive to town shops where great as well as the old township.

Fridge had frozen melted icream in it, Breakfast was not offered, no Condo advising local Resturants etc. the one on site was closed. No instructions for the TV.
