Spacious well maintain room for 4 adults. Clean beddings & linen, nice quality hand wash,shampoo,body wash. Room has microwave,toaster,electric kettle,fridge,flat iron, hair blower,tv. Has a small lanai for seating outside. Room is sound-proof. Has good AC.Stayed there during summer. Has a clean, well-equipped common kitchen. Has laundry room. Has plenty of parking space. Walking distance to Pic's factory.

If the glass door is open, vehicles can be heard as it is just in the round about,but if the glass door is closed, quiet room. The shower head needs updating. Try to shampoo the carpet as some stain are visible to keep your rooms in excellent rating.

Proximity to the venue for an event I was travelling for (Nelson Half Marathon). Flexibility with checkout times.

Only instant coffee available in the room. A plunger would have been nice. I assumed it would have on as the website said tea and coffee making facilities - so I bought my own plunger coffee but there was no plunger in the room.

Really enjoyed our stay and having a quiet, clean, comfy home away from home to be able to relax and unwind following the chaos and busyness birthdays can bring was very welcoming. All other facilities such as the kitchen and laundry were clean and well equipped. What made our stay that more great was the kindness, respect and care received from each of your staff we interacted with. Thank you Saxton Lodge.

Amazing room and lovely blossoms. Comfy bed. Linen was like brand new. Bathroom lovely and clean. Great location.

The meals were well below average. Better to eat elsewhere even if it's a pie at a service station. Not all cups and glasses were thoroughly clean. Couch needed a clean. Everything else was perfect and we enjoyed our stay.

I was given a large, quiet, cool room, upstairs at the back of the property. It suited me well for trips to see relatives in Ruby Bay and Nelson.

The shared kitchen was great, but required some organisation and thinking on my behalf, as it was quite a trudge if you forgot something.

We had other accomodation which fell through and we booked this accomodation, the day we arrived. The host went out of her way to help us find a room that suited us (mobility issues), I thought she was fantastic and friendly our entire stay! Couldn't have been happier.

My partner and I left a important photo in our room and the staff were so great about getting it back to us! Awesome people

Maybe some better conditioner it kinda just felt like it was two bottles of shampoo or soap for washing hair! And maybe some body wash or soap for the shower and bathroom? But alg other than that

The reception staff was courteous and friendly. it was a very good service. We didn’t see the staff as we arrived outside normal hours and even when checked out but but I find staff easy to communicate with. I love also how they made up the bed and our daughters were so glad their stuff toys/babies are taken care of lying on the bed very comfortably 😀

Some nights you could hear people’s TVs blaring into the early morning from downstairs. I was in the top floor and no sound coming from next door.
