+ very close to the bus station towards Leiden + the room and bathroom were very clean + very Dutch, very cosy + tea and coffee in the room, to drink for free

- I have not received a key to the main door, but only to the room, so each time I intended to go in I had to ring the bell (which is not really feasible if I plan to stay late outside) - the room had some parts which were pending repairing and some scribbling on the wall (around the window) - although there were a lot of light bulbs and all worked, the light in the room was pretty dim - not too many places to hang your clothes - slow internet connection, which is not good if you intend to have a teleconference (I had to use my data plan) - 15 minutes walk to the old city center and 30 minutes walk from train station but shops nearby

Lovely comfortable rooms in a house full of interesting things. The owner was very helpful,, letting us in a bit early as we had walked a long way in the rain to get there. Excellent shower, all facilities were great and there were nice touches like extra toiletries and chocolate eggs in the rooms. The owner was also able to drive us to and from our gig which was a real bonus. Very nice breakfast, freshly cooked. All excellent.

Hard to find - because of the photos on-line we were looking for a wooden chalet next to a lake!

Super sweet landlady! Both of the owners were very helpful with whatever we needed and their English was very good, The rooms and the bathrooms were clean and we even had a small outside garden available. :) Also, there was a small fridge and microwave with a few plates and cutlery we could use!

Despite it being written in the description, this place does not have a fully equipped kitchen available which, on one hand is not as terrible problem but for me it was the primary thing I was looking for when choosing a place to stay in the Netherlands. The landlady apologised and said she is aware of this problem but Booking is not letting her edit it in the description. Which, I can imagine, can be very annoying and I think the site should really do something about it. :( Also, the king-sized bed were two mattresses put together and they slid apart in the middle of the night if you accidentally got in the middle which was a bit annoying, especially if you are sleeping on the bed with someone else.

The location was good for my purpose. The hosts were exceptional, the room was spotless and tastefully furnished and decorated. Breakfast was very nice. Excellent place if you are going to De Boerderij for some superb music.

Owner was very accommodating, went out and beyond her way getting me to and from public transportation points. As I traveled without own transportation, and was unfamiliar with Zoetermeer's streetscape.

We were receive by a really sweet couple, we enjoyed the house and it's atmosphere, we felt really comfortable. I recommend this to everybody that is looking for a place to stay for a few days. Thank you so much!
