Staff super friendly and attentive! Went above and. Beyond to make us feel welcomed . Clean beautiful hotel in a great location

We stayed ground floor because it was the only room that could fit an extra bed. The room is right next to the reception which is not super private… Also the bathroom was huge but no hooks :)

Breakfast with fresh juice, some fruit, nice bread and fresh made eggs. Room nicely decorated and big kingsize bed. Beautiful house and garden.

Our room was located on the street side and there was some noise in the morning. The location is not pittoresk as would you expect from the pictures.

Good location in an interesting region with options for hiking in nature and visiting diverse towns and villages. Very large room with a comfortable bed. Generally quiet. Excellent breakfast.

Some noise by guests arriving at night (due to the Paaspop festival that happened to coincidence with our visit).

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel as a whole is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Fresh abs nee feel throughout. Beautiful breakfast room/lobby and garden (although we didn’t use the latter due to adverse weather). Value for money really good. Free parking is great, as is the location; close to town but also to the Noordkade area, which was a real find.

Room was quite hot but airco was bit too effective (cold); it was slightly difficult to find the balance. We could have opened a Velux window but it was raining and it would have rained on the bed. Also, we didn’t like to invite mosquitos in as it is so close to the water. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Coffee wasn’t nice. Options a bit sparse, with mean amounts of yoghurt, awkwardly placed, and tiny spoons for scooping granola and fruit. Odd whiff outside on the day we were there. Slightly catfoody, but that may have had something to do with the aeration of the water in the harbour.

Freshly and tastefully renovated, oozes modern and stylish vibe. Very good beds for a comfortable night's stay, a few miniutes from the city center, next to a decent staekhouse and with a supermarket and upcoming outdoor food/drinks market a couple of minutes walking away. Free parking places behind the hotel and a small shed for a bicaycle in case on a cycling trip. Very friendly and accomodating staff, beautiful garden where drinks or breakfast are possible in case the Dutch weather allows. Solid breakfast with decent espresso.

With everything this solid, one will notice the nitty gritty stuff. Nothing major, just room for improvement: the transparent bathroom door looks classy, but lacks privacy for that 'me time', even when out with your partner. The closet door can't open when the aircon is on and the blankets were slightly thick/warm for summer nights. Again, nothing major, especially at this pricepoint, still a very nice stay.

It had a very cosy feel and a clean aesthetic.

The stairs are very narrow so if you have large suitcases or mobility issues, you may have problems. The staff were very quick to lend a hand though.

I’ve stayed several times in the last two years and the property is always spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard! Owner and staff are exceptional too!

The staff was nice. The bread and cheese were very delicious in the breakfast.

They were building a second hotel across the road. Therefore the building that we are staying was mostly empty.

The room wasn’t preheated and it took hours to reach a comfortable temp. Shower was also not hot but lukewarm.

The hotel is worth the rate he gets, everything was on the high level, from the big shower to the comfy bed, location is quiet, the breakfast is excellent in an amazing atmosphere! I will definitely be back again
