Bastion Hotel Tilburg

The room was spacious, shower was amazing and beds were comfortable. Cleaning lady was super sweet. ☺️

The food at the restaurant was really disappointing and quite pricey for the bad quality. The waitress only came to our table after we had been ready to order for over 10 minutes. We had to ask her to take our order since she was cleaning an empty table next to us. She was not polite, didn’t know the menu (had to go to the kitchen to ask basic questions such as a burger’s ingredients)

Room was big and clean but they left the dirty cups from the previous guest there without changing (probably honest mistake, not a big deal). It's just 20-25 min walk to the city centre from the hotel. The location is perfect. There is a nice big park 5 min walk from the hotel, which is amazing. I would go there again if i visit Tilburg again.

The breakfast was fine but won't call it worth it for 16 euros per person. Too few options. Some of the staffs were friendly but some could be bit more friendly when talking to the guests. They looked like not happy working there.

The room had everything I needed and more. It was the first time when I had a Nespresso coffee machine in the room! The bed was massive and really comfortable. Everything was clean, functioning, and the staff were very friendly.

The 15EUR breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is, although all the breakfast items I tried were delicious. The location is a bit of a walk away from the city centre.

the location is not that bad, the room is pretty big incl. the bathroom so it's pretty comfortable

there is no water boiler, there is a coffee machine so we can take hot water from there but it's filthy from coffee leftover so we have to clean it couple of times first. The room gets too cold as well, and it takes some times to warm up since we were going in the winter time.

The room was nicer than expected for the price. The staff was very accommodating as I wanted to extend my stay (however, they charged me the regular room rate, not my discounted Booking.com rate for the extra nights which I didn't expect). It was quiet, free parking was nice (not that common in cities in the Netherlands) and close to the center (but not IN the center). It was really convenient to the highway when I had to drive to the airport. I did not make use of the gym or restaurant but the room was nice.

Smart TV. The TV channels were really limited (not an issue if you aren't in your room a lot). That's really my only criticism.

Room was clean, spacious and with everything one would need. Parking on the premise was safe and free which was one of the reasons of the stay here. The hotel was nice and was also the reason for making the stay longer.

We had the cheapest room (with no breakfast). Yet the room was big, modern, with coffee maker, etc and quiet air conditioning. Very helpful and competent staff. The property is located 20 minute walk (through a nice part of Tilburg) from the center but in a quiet green area.

The shower handle was slightly damaged and the bed side lamp was loose but both working fine.

The room was big, AC was working and most importantly it was clean (no strange smell), convinient little fridge for drinks, nice bathroom and soft bed.

Some of the equipment have seen better days (especially those lights next to bed), Wi-Fi connection wasn't stable.

I like that despite being so close to the main road, it is quiet and was able to get a good and deserved sleep on the comfortable beds. The room was a good size and the bathroom facilities were well maintained

Honestly, not much about the room I can say I didn't like. I didn't like however the jolting of the elevators. Having worked as an elevator engineer in the past, it made me anxious.

Convenient location for those travelling by car, outside the centre but in a walking distance. Spacious parking lot. My room was clean and tidy. Breakfast OK.

Claustrophobic corridors, in particular next to the lifts. Not very comfortable beds. Grimm decor. Really impersonal hotel, the kind of "pay and go". Quite expensive as for the service they offer.
