i travelled there with my family including our 10 month old baby. What a great place. i cannot recommend it highly enough. the place was spotless and cleaned constantly throughout the day. its in the wild so we expected some insect visitors but when we told the staff that we had some night time visitors they went all out and turned our room inside out EVERYDAY and checked under the mattress and cushions and sprayed the room with inoffensive repellent to keep the bugs away. we were so impressed by this service. the staff went out of there way to make food for our baby as he cannot have salt or sugar and every meal time they cooked what we wanted separate from the normal cooking methods so our boy could eat good food. AMAZING service. we were there for 10 days when most other people were there for 2-3 days and used it as a base to visit Izamal and the beautiful Cenote's so we had the pool and the whole place to ourselves and the staff made us feel so welcome during the quite times. the food was fantastic too. For the most it is not Mexican though. the menu is very much a Euro menu but done to high quality no matter the dish you pick. however they do have a Mayan menu on the Tuesday and it is DELICIOUS so do try it. and if your feeling cheeky like we were they would even make some of the dishes from the Mayan menu on other nights to. if you fancy Mayan food and i recommend it highly then you should visit KINNICH restaurant in Izamal all Traditional and home made. the food is great and again the atmosphere is perfect. back to the Hacienda. the rooms are ALL amazing, we were in the presidential suite but as we were there all day alone i had a nosey into the other rooms and they are all wonderful. all very big with great furniture and comfortable beds, when i return i will def just pick any room they have available. The staff were all great. nothing was too small or too big. please do try and speak Spanish where you can.

hmmm ok this is hard to think about because it was all great but ok i would have liked more Mexican / Mayan food on the menu. And to stop using Nespresso as the plastic waste is excessive and not needed. Other than that change nothing especially NOT the staff, the place is wonderful but its the staff here that makes it a SUPERB stay from the top to the bottom they are all amazing and go out of there way for you. TIP them because they are worth it

The hacienda is absolutely beautiful - quiet and serene. Breakfast was really great. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful The grounds are lovely

Dinner was a bit lackluster and the location although beautiful meant in order to do anything other than sit by the pool you need a rental car - not in walking distance to anything - if you are looking for quiet seclusion this is the right place

Not really a bad aspect but just to say that you need to prepare yourself to be surrounded by plenty of insects both in the room and at the dining room. Could improve the cleaning. Good experience but not good quality/price range.

Peaceful, rustic setting with delicious vegetarian dinner and breakfast options. Pool provided perfect release of day's 99 F heat.

Wifi in room was intermittent during our first evening. Would loved to have seen photos of grounds before renovation, and even more when it was a working plantation.

There was a delightful pool in front of the hacienda. My family enjoyed splashing in there- though it was too cold for me. The setting of the hacienda is beautiful and there are some very attractive sitting areas to enjoy. The breakfast was very nice- delicious jam. Staff were also very helpful and kind.

We felt that the lounge furniture at the pool was uncomfortable and could use an upgrade, though we saw that some people seemed quite satisfied and lay there all afternoon. The deluxe room we had didn't have any sitting area except a little couch. A small table and chairs would fit in there- just a suggestion- but it would make it more pleasant to sit in the room

fantastic boutique hotel. lovely welcoming staff. we’ve been travelling around Mexico and this has been our favourite hotel so far. lovely to relax and have a drink by the pool in the afternoon. The breakfast was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil relaxing stay in beautiful accomodation. however you really do need a car if you’re staying here as it is quite remote.

beautiful hacienda . the location and facilities were gorgeous. I loved the authentic feel of the place and the pool was delightful

the food was horrible . Breakfast was ok but dinner was pretty bad . The hacienda is outside of town so we were expecting to eat dinner and possibly have drinks there by the pool . I would suggest to eat in town before you arrive . I was disappointed because it is such a beautiful place.

We had a wonderful stay - Beautiful location - Nicely designed and decorated with very good taste - Extremely calm and peaceful environnement - Professional, discreet and friendly staff, always welcoming you with a smile - Room was very spacious, cozy and confortable - Good bedding - Delicious restaurant on site, everything (starters, mains, desserts, cocktails) was very tasteful and niet.

Nothing, we wished we could have stay longer, and we would definitely be back! This was the best place we stayed at during our road trip, thanks again for everything!
