Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Nogales, an IHG Hotel

Stayed at this hotel several years ago. Knew what to expect.

We were told that Booking.com had double booked us & that Booking.com should have advised us prior to our arrival of the fact. We were not the only guests affected by the cock-up. Part of our group of six were going to be re-allocated to the Best Western next door. We refused to accept this. We told the hotel reception that as we were booking in ahead of other guests then it was them that should be moved to the BW not us. This problem caused at great deal of stress & anxiety to two of the group & spoilt the whole day. Eventually it was sorted & we all stayed together at The HI Express.

The location was great for us because it is very close to the immigration offices. The breakfast was great, and the staff serving the food were nice.

However, what I didn't like is being ignored by the lady at the front counter when we arrived. Yes, she was helping another guest but it would have been nice to be at least acknowledged that we were there. I don't think it's hard to say that she is helping somebody else and will be with us shortly. Moreover, she left for a few minutes and just put a sign in front of us that she was gone or whatever it was. Again, without saying anything to us. That was plain rude! So we just hung there for about 10 minutes with a small baby being completely ignored.

super comfortable, clean, exactly the location we needed, lovely breakfast, just an all around perfect spot for the night.

The weather was too cold for anything outside so I have no opinion on anything other than the inside- which was lovely.

The breakfast itself was tasty. The location was very convenient.

There was lots of construction going on around your location, which caused lots of noise during the day around your building. The nearby construction also caused delays in traffic movement & made it a bit more difficult to get in & out of your location.

it's not that I didn't like but I don't understand the hotel offers breakfast that's nice, there plates are made from recyclable material but there silver is still plastic???

Excellent breakfast selection. Very clean and staff member quick to replenish food items. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was spacious and clean! As hotel breakfasts go, this one pretty good. Lots to choose from and the nice lady attending it was on top of things. She was friendly and kept things clean and restocked.

I'm not wild about carpets on hotels but that's pretty common.

I liked everything!!! I wanted to steal a pillow for home it was that good. So perfect after 5 months of Mexican hotels. THIS will be my mandatory stop on every trip into Mexico. Location, Clean, Staff.... oh! The breakfast food was delicious.

Very clean, parking right outside our room. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. Pet friendly

Loved it!!! I will definately go back to the same hotel in near future. My room was very clean. My matress was comfortably firm all over...no dips! Best night sleep in years! Breakfast was good but there was no Bacon. Only ham and sausage. The omlets were hot and cheesy!
