Alex is indeed a very friendly owner of this place that has lot of valuable tips and suggestions. As already mentioned before the shower pressure is very low so count on it. Room was ok, simple but ok. We didn't spend much time in there as we did some nice activities through the day. LA Cabanita restaurant, about 7 min walk, was really a super nice place with excellent food and very tasty cocktails, it's a must.

Best stay of our vacation. The welcome was warm, the owner is friendly and helpful. The room is extra clean and convenient. You can easily rent a bike for a low price, the beach is at 10min. We really recommend this place if you go to Baccalar.

The only negative point is that during a small storm, a bit of water came into the room and the debit of water in the shower is low (But not so annoying given that it's the jungle)

Alex is a really happy, friendly and helpful owner. He can inform you all about Bacalar and other places nearby. He helped us with a tour we wanted to book; He's helpful if you want to but he is not pushy. Just really easy going. The room is large, comfortable and clean. You can sit outside for chillings if you want. Alex is happy to make you breakfast. I really liked this place and I would recommend it.

Everything. Can't complain. The host was very friendly, helpful and a relaxed person. They also offer laundry service for 200 pesos which is not much considering the amount of clothes you can wash.

Nothing honestly

Alex is a very good and nice host. he is very helpful with tips on what to do and where to get a boat tour for example. his service is the biggest reason that we enjoyed our time so much!

the room was fine but very humid. this was because of the rain. our clothes and towels didn’t dry but we know this is because of the rain.

We had a wonderful stay at Alex place, the room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Aljanna house is the best value place in Bacalar and the host is knowledgeable and helps with everything. Highly recommended!!!

Alex was very friendly and there's lots of animals around which was very cool - it felt like ace venturas garden! Location great, less than 5 min drive to lagoon. Good value.

Water wasn't that warm in the shower but not a major issue.

The place was super clean and looked nice, equipped with all the facilities you’ll need. Very close to the ADO terminal. Alex, the host gave all the help and advice I was looking for and even more! I definitely would stay again :-)

The ceiling fan was a bit too loud, but A/C does it job.

Location was brilliant. Very close to the bus station and a short walk to the towns center. The room was exceptionally clean, and the beds were really comfy. We felt very safe staying here. Loved it, would stay again and recommend to anyone

Clean, modern rooms. Nice bathroom and breakfast.

In th afternoon and evening the shower never came through hot in either of the two rooms we booked. It did in the morning though.
