We loved the hotel and it had a great charm to it. Location was near romantica district and easy to walk around. It’s also the hotel of one of the best restaurants in the city, La Capella. Our Uber drivers would sometimes know the hotel, but everyone always knew the restaurant. The staff was also really helpful and kind whenever we needed something. Would definitely stay again.

The water takes really long to heat up and we felt bad running it for 10 minutes before it was luke warm to shower. They warned us in the beginning but it’s just a lot of water waste. It also has an amazing view of the bell tower. The downside is that the bells ring all the time, more than once an hour. They provide ear plugs but it’s definitely a downside if you aren’t used to sleeping with ear plugs.

We absolutely loved this small, charming hotel, the staff and everything about it! The location is very central to everthing in old Puerto Vallarta so you can easily walk everywhere (although I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like hills). Our room had a private veranda overlooking the cathedral so we enjoyed watching the ringing of the bells! The rooms are large, well furnished and tastefully done. And, the breakfast was supurb!

This is an awesome property. The rooms were great. Breakfast was superb. The location can't be more ideal. The facility was so beautiful that my wife wanted to extend the stay here. Great restaurants all around. Very walkable to the boardwalk. Felt very safe all through the say.

Only two minor thing. The first day the hot water at the shower did not come. The church bell in the night was a bit of a minor bother. But not a show stopper.

The hotel, our room and the view were just perfect! Like living a fairytale experience Super spacious and atmospheric balcony to enjoy the sea and city views and the food. Hotel restaurant Italian food was the best I've tried so far in Mexico. The location is also good with lots of restaurants and beaches nearby, however the best beaches in PV are a bit far away so you need to walk or take taxi there

This property is absolutely beautiful. There’s a real old-world style here that could easily feel over-the-top, but instead was achieved to perfection. The view of the cathedral from our bed was other-worldly. The staff hit 100% with their friendliness and professionalism. The location is fantastic for enjoying everything both Old Vallarta, and the Zona Romantica have to offer. An absolute gem for the price we paid. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant, but had drinks and some pretty amazing appetizers in the bar area, where we could enjoy the same view, and hear the beautiful violin trio. It was all a bit magical :)

No grab bar in the shower and the tiles are very slippery when wet. Extremely low toilet with no assistance bar Windows to the balcony were unclean Safe did not work

This property is spectacular. Its hard to determine what is more beautiful, the property or the views. It is on a hill so be ready to walk stairs in the property. Staff- the staff was very helpful and was always ready to answer questions. They lugged my very heavy suitcase over multiple flights of stairs. I am eternally grateful for this help Remember to have Whats App loaded because this is how you will talk to the front desk and order room service. Staff was very accommodating for my late check out. They also ordered a taxi for me to go to the airport. Room- the room was perfect. It was well appointed and perfectly clean. The bed was king size and comfortable. I slept very deeply. The room has the charms of an old Mexican casa. One side of my room had a view of the Cathedral. The other side was a fountain. My bathroom had a chandelier. The only channel on the TV was Netflix. I wanted to watch CNN, but there wasn’t any access. The hotel restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. The restaurant is full of locals. It is a perfect place for a romantic meal. We will be staying here on our next trip to PV.

This is a unique, beautiful hotel. It's surprising in a pleasant but mixed neighborhood.

Would have preferred a lighter, less expensive breakfast option. The hotel is four blocks from the Malecon, two of which are a steep climb. This would not normally have been a problem, but we were ill during part of our stay.

We had a wonderful time at BellView Hotel. The location, the hotel and the service are all superb. The manager Aniela (I hope I’m spelling your name right!) was very accommodating with our needs and extras that we asked for. Our Casa Campana consisted of total of 5 rooms and 3 balconies. We were lucky to have the breathtaking view of the church and the ocean. Two days we spent on the balcony even though the hotel was so close to the ocean. The views were worth it! You will hear the bell quite clearly every 15 mins though. At night I used earplugs provided by the hotel but my hubby was fine without them. I’m just a light sleeper. The sound didn’t bother us during the day at all and just somehow made the whole experience more magical and special! We’d def stay here again!

What breakfast? Location was good for us but don’t go to this district if you can’t do lots of stairs.

No one showed us that the doors we could not open led to a beautiful private balcony u til we were leaving!! Unless your psychic who would know! We missed out on this! If your noise sensitive don’t stay as the restaurant downstairs is loud until 11pm apox. We didn’t mind. The place is stunningly beautiful.
