Our room was clean, bed and linen comfortable. Internet was good. We had asked for small fridge in our room and they brought us one which was great. We would have preferred to be in the courtyard but there was no availability. Our room was #7 which was ample. A bit of a freshen up on the doors and furniture is needed. Our door lock stuck which the front desk came to check immediately. We were just off the lobby on the second floor and it was quiet. Location was good, probably about a 10 min walk to Centro and we took the bus to Centro Guadalaja. We walked everywhere from the hotel with no problem. Liverpool shopping centre and mega were within blocks. Breakfast was always good. All staff were wonderful.🤗

We didn’t like walking home too late as felt a little unsafe. So we were always back around 9. But’s taxi is plentiful. Would like to have seen the restaurant open for lunch or supper. Apparently it use to be before Covid. Our door lock sticking was an issue for us and our room had a bathtub shower of which the tub had high walls and was quite slippery, I could see this being an issue at some time.

Road hotel is on is unprepossessing but walk through the door and you feel like you have walked into a wonderful peaceful Mexican/Spanish style space with lovely rooms, courtyards, two pools , spacious open bar/breakfast area to sit and relax in. Hotel is in two sections, either side of the small quiet road and the style is similar in both, Location is a big plus as it is within walking distance (about 10 mins) to the entrance of what we thought was the best and most varied tourist area we came across in Guadalajara. Tlaquepaque. Lots of music, shops, restaurants and local food options. Felt very safe walking around area and to/from hotel even at night. Also good location for heading off to see cultural areas in the city centre or get a taxi to visit craft area of Tonala.

Very happy with our time spent here.

The hotel is aesthetically gorgeous. The facilities are good. The room was incredibly spacious, and the bathroom was the best we'd had at any of the hotels we had stayed at in our nearly three weeks in México. The staff at the hotel were helpful and understanding. We travelled as a group of three friends and the extra night in Guadalajara was essentially just a very long layover for us, and they were able to allow us three to a room despite it being set up for two (thankfully the bed was massive).

The hotel LOOKS like it's in the middle of nowhere as you approach by taxi, but it's a very, very short walk from beautiful Tlaquepaque centro with lots of cafés and pottery shops, craft shops, etc. The staff at the restaurant were helpful but one of our travellers has a vegan dietary requirement and it was a struggle to get them to think of some kind of menu adjustment. This was common across many places in México but ideally a hotel should really have at least one menu-ready item that isn't just a fruit cup, or chilaquiles with half of the additions missing. Again, most travellers won't run into this issue but something for those with dietary restrictions to be aware of.

A really cute and authentic hotel. The pool area is divine (besides the mosquitos). The exterior of the buildings are charming and beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable, although the bed a little hard. The breakfast was fantastic - you choose a main (basically anything on the menu) and you get coffee, granola, yoghurt, toast and fruit too.

The only downsides to this hotel was the WiFi (it was shockingly bad - I tried several of their networks) and the street in which it is located is somewhat desolate (its only a short walk to town but some people would feel uncomfortable I think).

This is an amazing boutique hotel, 4 blocks from Tlaquepaque, an up scale shopping and eating neighborhood. The room was a comfortable bed, a very nice patio area with a table and chairs, and the two swimming pools were refreshing, although a little colder than I normally prefer. They did have a hot tub, but it was not hot. Other than that, everything was perfect. The staff came through and found us a Thai Restaurant that was about 20 minutes by taxi. Thank for the recommendaton. I was very tasty. We also participated in the Sunday morning biking-walking-rollerblading event 1 block away from the hotel. This happens every Sunday and every holiday. It was busy with lots of families, and it was a great way to see the neighborhood.

My husband and I stayed in a junior suite on a short vacation to Guadalajara. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you go through the gate, it's a really colorful, charming, traditional Mexican inn with greenery everywhere. The pool and hot tub are great, as was the bartender and the rest of the staff! Our room was spacious and had its own private terrace (it seemed like several of the rooms do), and it was just a fun place to explore. It's a short walk to the main area of Tlaquepaque (which is also quite charming) and about 20 minutes by taxi to el centro. We would definitely stay again!

Mattress was a bit firm for my taste (but not uncomfortable). Wifi had a tendency to go in and out, which wasn't a big deal for us but would be annoying if you were trying to work remotely from here.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. We absolutely loved our private patio!!! It was huge and partly shaded. We requested an extra lounge chair and it was brought within minutes. The staff was great. Although the pool is not heated, it was lovely to sit by and they do heat the hot tub if you ask. The location was about 4/5 blocks from the main streets of Tlaquepaque which has a lot of nice restaurants and shops. There are also a bunch of restaurants down some of the side streets on the way to downtown, some are very small and traditional and there are also larger places.

I suppose not everyone would love the street where the hotel is located. It is a typical residential street and perhaps a little bit “rustic”. It might be somewhat difficult walking due to some uneven sidewalks for someone not able bodied but fairly typical of city streets in Mexico. I always felt perfectly safe. The biggest drawback was the Wi-Fi, it was pretty spotty so that was irritating. The bed was too hard for me but my husband liked it. Breakfast was served by very attentive staff. They have about 10 choices of eggs or some Mexican dishes and always have a serving of fruit with yogurt and granola, juice and coffee.

Charming ambience and breakfast, but most of all, the wonderful staff. Also appreciated english spoken. Visitors will appreciate the Mexican hacienda style architecture, tiles, colors, artwork, and well maintained gardens. It created sanctuary in the heat of the day. Comfortable beds, gracias!

Room 25: the sliding bathroom door was broken, and did not operate. We did not use the smaller pool, as there was less shade. An umbrella needed perhaps? Some of the furnishings are showing their age… which adds to the charm, but not for everyone.

I can't say enough about this boutique hotel. I was given two rooms to choose from and the one I selected looked over the pool and the salon below. The gardens, the room, the linens, the music of the fountains, everything was magical. Breakfast was superb and Carlos mixes an exquisite cocktail. The crowning glory of this place is the staff. I felt like a member of the family by the time I left. And I hope to return again and again. Ten stars available, I give this eleven.

Absolutely not one thing.

Overall this property was great. From the street you can’t see it but once you walk into the property you see all the charm. It is walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. Blas and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful. Blas was able to give us recommendations on sights to see and restaurants to try. Breakfast on-site was perfect and delicious. Definitely plan on recommending and returning to this hidden gem.
