I could say this is the best experience I have in Segamat. Well, cnt expect much for a hotel in a small town but VIP hotel absolutely exceeds my expectation. There are plenty of parking spaces behind the hotel. Buffet breakfast is delicious with a lot of varieties for a hotel and the main is their staff are just so friendly and helpful. There is a gym room and swimming pool however it is under maintenance when my visit. Wifi connection is fast which suitable for me during my work trip.
Be careful of the slippery toilet tie and I'm not sure is they missed out on the floor mat, especially in this slippery condition. There is only 1 road to go and exit if you park behind the hotel, need to beware. It will be great if the cleanliness in the room can be taken care of especially the dust under the table lamp.

Most of all I really like the layout and the cleanliness of the room! It made me feel so cozy and comfortable to just sit back and relax in the room. Also, I want to point out that the air pressure in the shower is superb! To all VIP Hotel staff & management, please keep this up but always remember that there's always room for improvement. I will definitely be coming back here for sure! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality! Kudos to the team and may I note to the management that the operation staff deserves a raise for their hard work especially during this pandemic era. Stop focusing on the guests' needs for a moment and start focusing more on building up the staff morale. Good staff morale equals to Customer's satisfaction. Whoever is reading this, please bring this up to your management.
Well, during my stay on 4th Dec 21, I saw the pamphlet in the room saying that we can order up room service but when I ask the receptionist, and she said that the restaurant is closed and I could not order any room service. That's a shame because I was really hoping to taste their food but to no avail. Maybe this is because the hotel is suffering from the lack of staff so it's understandable. But for future reference, please inform us early on whether we can order or not on the room service.

The room is very okay, i can say every area i go in the hotel very clean. Breakfast also provided and we have choices to select. Tooth brush also provided.
What i don't like, there are two remote for control tv. Which is quite confusing. Another thing, body wash that has been provide don't have enough bubbles/foam.

The hotel staff is so helpful in full filling my request. The hotel also served sahur during Ramadhan. There are also buffet Ramadhan at additional cost which the price are quite reasonable with the tasty menu serve.
The lights in the room are a bit dimmed. The air conditioning need to be serviced as the compressors made quite a loud noise.

Receptionist supposed to be at front desk 24hours. arrived for check in, need to wait around 10 minutes to wait for receptionist. and swimming pool also closed.
