EQ Kuala Lumpur

My family and i had the most amazing and relaxing 7 nights at eq hotel kl. From  check in all the way to check out, the staff were the most friendliest i have ever met in my years of traveling, so warm and welcoming and extremely helpful with anything you need. Anne from reception thank you so much for your generosity, humour and kindness throught our stay, tawi from the concierge, even with the mask on you could feel his smile from across the hotel and willingness to help. Hass your lovely hospitality during breakfast always checking in on us and other guests made us feel right at home. Also a big thank you to aizad, naim, thomas and ismail for helping with the luggage, and assistance when needing a Grab to go around. As well as the houskeeping staff so sweet and helpful. You all made us feel very welcome to malaysia and we will definitely be back again. Highly recommended this hotel. Very clean, amazing views of the city, 5 to 10 minute walk from literally everything you need or want to see in kuala lumpur.

Cleanliness, service, breakfast, pool.

Make up room was a little slow. We went for breakfast came back still not done. Went out twice and came back still not done, even after we called. We were told that the make up room service were only on round in the afternoon around 4pm. Probably because it's the peak period during our stay.

* Well located in terms of public transport. * Spacious, clean and somewhat stylish rooms. * Awesome infinity pool on 29th level. Comes with sauna and gym in case KL's 30°C didn't kill you yet. * Great breakfast buffet (expensive though) * 5 minutes walk to Heli Lounge Bar * 10-15 minutes walk to Changkat Avenue + more quiet side streets

* Slightly snobbish staff. Do this! Don't do that! * Shower and sink separated from room via glass wall (okay for couples, not okay for non-couples) * No display where elevators currently are and where they're going (1 random door out of 6 will suddenly open) * With a bit of googling in advance you'll find cheaper options with equal service level.

Hotel personnel were courteous and helpful, especially the security guards during our stay. Excellent room facilities and security. We specifically searched for a hotel room with a big tub and EQ has it. There were various TV channels that kept us entertained. We requested for a baby crib and it was ready when we checked in. We are not big breakfast eaters so we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel. Instead we chose to get some buns from the convenience store nearby (there are three near the hotel, as well as a fast food restaurant). We drove to the hotel and parking was free throughout our stay. We just had to validate our ticket.

The check-in process was quick but we had to wait for a while to be attended to. There was no lifeguard at the swimming pool so we utilised it at our own risk. Also if you need to use the bidet in your room, we would suggest testing it first. The water that comes out from the retractable nozzle can be quite uncomfortable.

On the weekend full packed with crowed and can't enjoy some other restaurant food...I like the staff is very friendly and entertaining...and also the room is really awesome and superb clean. The view from from room is superb KLCC tower view.

Is full house at all restaurant in the hotel, can't enjoy the food. Only room service is available.

breakfast was a little expensive, but included many items to eat. the lobby was really interesting, many items to make you interested, including a nice Christmas tree, a piano and etc. the pool was so good and relaxing, and also a great spot to take tremendous pictures. the location was also awesome. near to twin towers, Pavilion, city center and many restaurants and pubs.

If not for the breakfast spread that was ordinary and limited, I would have rated our stay a 10 for the amazing staff ! Right from the moment we checked in, we were greeted with warm smiles. The staff were enthusiastic and happy to serve us. The concierge helped us with our bags all the way to the basement parking when we checked out. Well done and thank you very much !!! Décor in the hotel was modern and beautiful. Room had complimentary beverages and snacks. Bed was so comfortable. Food at Etoile was great and we had a scrumptious Christmas Eve dinner at Kampachi. View from the room was impressive.

Breakfast spread was a bit of a letdown. On Christmas Eve morning, we were ushered to the first floor makeshift breakfast area because of the large festive crowd. Food was cold, coffee was cold. Waffle and French toast were chewy.

The room was modern and very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good and had a lot of options. The location was good with the two large parks and the Petronas Towers within walking distance. The view from the pool was fantastic.

The loungers at the pool are without a doubt the most uncomfortable I have ever used, the bars protrude through and feel like a torture device! It put you off wanting to use the pool, please invest in some new loungers! The fruit could be better at the breakfast. The bar is off limits to kids under 12 so you can't enjoy a drink on the roof as a family.
