Comfort Suites Tokyo Bay

Great Hotel for those planning to go to the Disney Parks. Hotel had a regular scheduled bus going to both parks. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities you would need, including a fridge with freezer and microwave. The rooms was larger than typical Japanese hotel rooms. The staffs was very nice and accommodating. There's even a Lawson on the property for snacks and drinks.

The location is a little far from everything except the Disney parks. Transportation tip; if you're arriving by train at Shin-Urayasu Station, you can catch the local bus #3 heading towards Ryotokuji University which is located right next to the Hotel. Google Maps did not have this as a public transportation option.

Location: We took a taxi from Shin-Urayasu Station to the hotel because we had a lot of bags, a toddler and a stroller, but the map showed it was a 15 or 20 min straight walk, which probably would've been fine if it had been just adults with small bags. Hotel: The hotel itself is SO beautiful! The decor is all themed as "board games" and the lobby has a chess-board like floors, the hallways have large trump card objects, and the room had a puzzle theme. The lobby has a small area walled off where kids can take their shoes off and play, but it is very small so I would recommend it for small babies. There's luggage storage lockers (!?) which I have never seen before in all of my traveling at the reception. We didn't use it but it looked very useful. There is also a Sagawa shipping service (additional fee) next to the front desk so if you want to ship all the things you bought at Disneyland to your home (not sure if they do international shipping), you can do that. There's a shuttle service that goes to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, and also goes from the 2 parks back to the hotel. There's no shuttle to Shin-Urayasu station but I realized a little too late that you can just take the free shuttle to Disneyland and go to Maihama Station from there. Room: The room was very clean, spacious and had a lot of counter space -- something you don't realize you need until you have it! I also appreciated that the toilet and the sink/shower area were separate so it doesn't feel like all your toilet germs are getting on your toothbrushes every time you flush. The entry way into the room is spacious enough to put a stroller there and still have space to walk by. If you don't have your room cleaned overnight, they will leave a bag with all towels, trash bags, and toothbrushes hanging on your door, which is very convenient. Service: Everyone was very helpful, friendly and polite.

Nothing. Traveling with a toddler can be highly stressful but this hotel and their staff really made it so much better. Thank you!!

We loved everything about this hotel!! I would absolutely recommend it despite it being a bit of effort to get to the nearest train station. It was well worth it to stay in such a lovely hotel! (And super easy once you figure it out.) I stay in high-end hotels for work and have gotten very picky about hotels. However, when traveling with my family (kids ages 8 and 13) it is hard to find a family-friendly hotel (with the nice amenities I've becone accustomed to) that comfortably fits 4 people without paying exorbitant prices or having to get 2 rooms with no guarantee that my children will be in an adjoining room. This is especially true in Japan! This hotel exceeded all my expectations, especially for the price! The rooms are large, with a sofa and a table with chairs. The beds are big for a Japanese hotel - 2 actual double/full beds, not oversized twin beds. There was plenty of room for our luggage and we could still comfortably move around the room. There was a fridge and microwave in the room, an ice maker down the hall, and a little convenience store (a Lawson) off of the huge lobby where we could get snacks, drinks, and food. Their breakfast was amazing with both Japanese and American fare. The staff were incredibly attentive and efficient. The hotel was super clean and felt brand new. The hotel was very helpful in directing us to a limo-bus service to and from the hotel so we didn't have to haul our luggage on the train... which really wouldn't have been a big deal, but after a 14-hour plane ride, it was nice to relax in comfortable seats and be driven to our hotel. I think the bus ride was around $35 USD each way for 4 of us. We enjoyed this hotel so much, that when our flight home got delayed a day, we opted to go back to this hotel for one more night instead of staying at the airport hotel we had the night before in anticipation of our flight home. My kids actually BEGGED to go back to this hotel.

We liked everything. The only thing that might be considered a negative is the location. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, then about 5-7 minutes by bus to the Shin Urayasu train station. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get to the heart of Tokyo from this hotel. However, it is only one stop by train to Disney (but the hotel has a free Disney shuttle.) All that being said, it was 100% worth all that to stay in such a nice, affordable, family-friendly hotel!

Hotel room was spacious, beds were big size. Twins room was good for family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast buffet was interesting and tasty, kids liked the candy dispenser and mashmallow corner a lot. Lawson here had more food variety than those nearby, but all would be wiped out by 10pm everyday. Laundry room was next to Lawson and convenient to use. Nearby there is also a laundromat, in case you need to wash a lot more clothes. There is a pc room if you need last minute printing.

Shuttle bus didnt stop first at disneysea even though it was nearer than Disneyland . So to arrive at disneysea, expect a 40-45 mins journey depending on the traffic condition.

Room was big for Tokyo standard and comfortable. Shuttle bus to/from Disney useful but difficult to find pick up spot when first arriving at train station. The staff were amazing in helping passengers get off the bus after a long day at Disney, even helping with prams holding sleeping kids. Hotel was a much cheaper option than Disney hotels. Very useful to have Lawson convenience store at the hotel, you can buy food to take into Disneyland so you don't need to line up to buy lunch!

Does take around 20-30 minutes for shuttle to/from Disney. Breakfast options didn't change for 3 mornings we stayed there.

The staff was very helpful and provided very good service. I was very happy to see the hotel has front loader washing machines and there is a 24 hours coin laundry 5 mins walk from the hotel (a map was provided by the hotel). On the ground floor there is a Lawson convenience store attached to the hotel. There are big supermarkets/100 yen shops close by as well (7-10 minutes walk for the hotel).

It would be great if the hotel could provide plates so I can use them when heating up food in microwave. The washing/drying machine didn't dry my clothes very well. It would be so much convenient if the hotel could provide a cloth drying pole inside the bathroom so my semi-dried clothes can be hung there to dry overnight.

Good place for kids. Loved the little Lawson convenience store beneath the building. Good breakfast. Some staff with reasonable spoken English ability. The staff is always polite, willing to help. Daily housekeeping. Drinks vending machine next to the room.

Some days housekeeping will not change bed sheets but straighten them and make the beds. Watch out for strained Quilts, even with blood. But the outside quilt covers are nice and fresh. Shows the housekeeping team letting management down. Management was extremely apologetic about this. So much of the very fine mist of dust comes from airconditioning ventilation. The floor carpet outside the room was stained and never been removed for the entire 10 days of our stay. Lift floor carpet shows dust for a few days until being vacuumed.

Free shuttle service to Disneyland & Sea, huge open park with a playground across the street, 5-10minute walk to New Coast (little shopping center) breakfast was included, we were able to check in a bit earlier, staff was friendly for the most part. Convenience store located inside for easy meals, a snacks.

Breakfast was included but menu was the same everyday, requested help arranging bus service back to Narita airport and they told me to come back because they were busy, it wasn’t busy at the time. Washing machines were small and really expensive.

I'm actually a bit out of words in the meaning that there are too many good things to say about Comfort Suites in Tokyo Bay 1 the staff is very friendly and helpful 2 the room is cleaned every day with very comfortable beds and very comfortable bathroom 3 the breakfast cost is actually very convenient for the options on offer 4 there is a little mart on site that sells pretty much everything from food to band aid, in case you need them 5 in house access to laundry 6 free shuttle for the Disney parks 7 40m away from the closest bus stop or a 2km stroll away from Shin-Urayasu station

Reasonable rate. Super clean. Great service. Free shuttle to Disneyland and back. Twenty minutes from Disneyland, ten minutes from Shin-Urayasu station. Decent breakfast at a reasonable price. Family-oriented experience. Lawson on the first floor. The area is very safe and clean.

The room is kinda small but that's Japan for you. Kinda hard to get a cab when leaving. I asked the front if they could call a taxi for us but they provided us with a bus schedule instead. Maybe there was a miscommunication? It worked out as I ended up using Didi to call a cab, but it would've been nice if they had offered to call a cab for us.
