Breakfast was Asian and more than plenty. If I had paid for the breakfast each day, I would have balked at the price, but I opted to include it with our booking so it was already paid for. Having a warm place to sit and enjoy breakfast was worth it's weight in gold! There were washing machines and dryers onsite with laundry soap. That was amazing. It was so helpful to be able to wash clothes each morning as we ate breakfast. The location was great. Just a few minute walk to the train station. There were grocery stores on either end of the train station so we bought dinner at the grocery store a few nights and took it back to the hotel and ate it in the breakfast area. Healthier and easier than eating out. It was cold and when the sun went down, it was colder. The futon folded out to a twin size bed for my child. We brought our own linens.
The property was aged. Looks like the Centurion may have purchased an older property and refurbished most of it. The wall paper was peeling in areas, but that wouldn't change my desire to stay there again.

Room was very clean and well maintained. Location was excellent and close to the JR station as well as shopping mall. The Harborwalk is an excellent area for families to walk around and enjoy the harbour view.
Nothing really major to complain about. However, perhaps more attention should be given to the coin laundry area. We used the washing machines multiple times and they worked well, but the middle dryer seemed to be either extremely inefficient or malfunctioning, as it was not able to dry our clothes even after running for two hours, whereas the first unit (on the left) was able to dry our clothes within one hour. Perhaps the middle unit needs some maintenance or the filters need cleaning.

Great location, just steps from Kobe Station, lots of restaurants, convenient stores & a huge grocery store. There was just enough room for the 3 of us. It was nice that they had paid laundry for our long stay. The shower had great shampoos and water pressure. Staff were very nice and helpful.
The walls are very thin. Could have used more outlets by the bedside tables (there was just 1 so you couldn't use the lamp and charge your phone).

Beautiful room, only a little scuffed. Nice couch- I haven't experienced that in a Japanese hotel before. Bigger than the average small hotel room. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Lots of creams in the bathroom, more than I know what to do with. Huge TV.
Could have artwork in the room. Terrible view out my window- a wall a few centimetres from my window. Curtain could be a little darker. Lights were a little too dim for the room. How about a TV channel with some English, at least the news? I've experienced it only in 3 hotels in Japan.

We were four people (family) and expected a packed room with beds and the ususal small bathroom - but then it turned out to be like a two room appartment with a spacious bathroom plus two big tv sets in each room. For the price we payed it was exceptional good. Very close to the train station and a lot of restaurants in walking distance, convenience store right around the corner - perfect location.
The Japanese/Western style breakfast was average, we missed a heater here and there to keep the food warm. But it did its job after all and in relation to the overall price we payed it was definitely ok.

Receptionist helped me to make couple phone calls to rental car companies in Japanese, very much appreciated Cheng! Underground parking nearby very reasonably priced due to discount by hotel stamp. They have a room that can accommodate 5 of us which is hard to find in Japan. Very good price and close to Kobe metro lines as well as JR/hankyu/Hansin railway.
Just the elevator is a bit lack of circulation but that seems common in other hotels we stayed in Japan.

Staff were great helpful and freindly upon our last minute booking and late arrival, also able to speak perfect English. Very Large room good breakfast selection clean , robes slippers etc. Very good price also. VERY GOOD!
Nothing really... I observed; Large step up into bathroom and excessive gap at bottom of the door. Didn't really effect us but I thought it was strange! 2 4 foot bed pushed together was a bit weird in the room also kind of making 1 massive bed couldn't really figure out why.

Very nice hotel - I recommend it. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment. The hotel was spotless, and my room was comfortable. I slept very well. It's in a great location but very peaceful (I was on the 7th floor). The bathroom was stocked with good-quality toiletries. The hotel team were polite and friendly. I got a free upgrade on my first night (I stayed for two). Not overpriced. I would return.

This was my fourth stay at this hotel. The welcome is always very friendly. I stayed in a room on the 8th floor for a very good price. Everything was perfectly clean. The furniture design is not modern, but everything is very well maintained. Nothing is forgotten for the comfort of customers.

The staff was amazing. The staff was helpful with all our needs. They tried hard to make our life easier. We do not speak Japanese. The facilities are above most Japanese hotel standards and close to many places in Kobe.
Everything was ok. We would come back for next Kobe festival. They need maybe more english or other languages signs.
