The food in general was excellent. The beach was clean and the lifeguard setting up in morning was completely on top of things. Maid service was more than adequate. Front desk was quick and easy, including our free Covid testing. Older section has been updated, very nice touch, and the outside courtyard a pleasure to use.

Gift shop was limited in necessities...LOL....liquor, cigarettes & snacks. Large trees are utilized for shade on the beach, but a few umbrellas would help when the hotel is busy.

Included continental breakfast was excellent, with a pretty selection of fruit included. Dinner (escovitch fish and jerk chicken) again excellent and very filling portions. Beach is wide with plenty of loungers and shade under the trees

The price of beer at the bar made us go buy our own at a nearby supremarket

We loved the location. It has it's own private beach where they provide everything you need to enjoy the sun, sand, and water. The staff was phenomenal!!! We received EXCELLENT customer service!! The staff treated us like family. I would like to send a special shout out to Jayda our waitress. She served us the entire time of our stay. She was fantastic, and personally catered to our every need. She even provided my partner with an extra chair to rest his swollen leg.❤️‍🩹 It didn't feel like we were in a resort or hotel; It felt like we were with family. With that being said, we are looking forward to our next stay at Coco Lapalm.❤️

The staff, including at the office, was helpful and respectful

On 2 occasions out of the 15 nights we spent the4re our in room coffee pot was not cleaned and no fresh coffee packets were left. On 2 occasions the food at the restaurant was not prepared as ordered. On one occasion when we were seated around the corner at the restaurant the server forgot about us. The beach lounge chairs did not adjust appropriately for sitting requiring the use of upright chairs. We needed 2 chairs for each person to be comfortable. Better lounge chairs would eliminate that.

The location at Coco La Palm can't be beat. It keeps us coming back. The grounds are lovely, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant is good enough that we eat most of our meals there (something that I can't say at most hotels I stay at). Good happy hour deals. Wifi worked without any hassle. The safe in the room was big enough to store my laptop, and I appreciate that they don't charge to use it. The swimming area is excellent -- soft, beautiful sand, calm waves, and gentle slope out to the water, so would be very safe for non-swimmers. We loved the complementary use of stand-up paddle boards, and the life vests they provide. The free evening show with fire dancers and music and stunts and comedy was so much fun!

The bathrooms in the rooms were a bit dingy -- didn't feel super clean, even after rooms were serviced. I had asked for extra pillows in my reservation, and they didn't provide them. (I'm sure they would have if I had hunted someone down to ask once I was there, but I didn't do that.). The toilet was a bit finicky to flush -- had to hold the handle down for a while or nothing would go down. And the water in the shower took a long time to warm up, and even then never got above lukewarm.

The service of the staff from the event planner Kimesha to maintenence was pleasant. The hotel was very clean The salon was a plus as Kimesha planned every step of my brautiful beachfront wedding. Ms Joan and her MUA did an exceptional job on my hair and makeup. The restaurant and bar was amazing. The jerk lamb chops were outstanding. I will return every year!

The first night there were a few cats hanging around the dining area, but they didn't bother us much

Loved the location on the beach! Seemed to be right in the centre and within walking distance to numerous hot spots. Security was always around and let vendors approach but if you said no and they stuck around, they intervened. Loved this. Felt like I was always safe on the property. The pool/hot tub area virtually right outside our door was always clean and super refreshing when not wanting to be on the beach. The managers meet/greet party on Monday night was awesome. We loved everything about our stay at Coco!

Nothing that coco can do, but when off property, the amount of vendors/people asking us to purchase things was definitely overwhelming and some were relentless and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Cleanliness of the facility and rooms. Suggest modernizing the rooms a bit to keep up with the competition. Keep up the good work in regards to the cleanliness.

Noticed that the toilet and bathroom sink was not in good standing(not fully operational). Towel and rag quality were sub-par and could be upgraded. The breakfast was somewhat overcooked (bammy, Johnny cakes). The steak for dinner was a little rubbery and potatoes were a bit bland.

The staff is superbly friendly, the grounds are beautiful, food is tasty, and the beach is clean and perfectly calm for floating. The rooms are comfortable and have a sense of privacy with little porches and chairs. The Monday night cocktail party was very sweet and fun and gave us a chance to meet the staff who seem to enjoy their jobs and take pride in top rate hospitality. Our girls group felt safe, peaceful, and taken care of. I would highly recommend and if I vacation again in Jamaica, will have to stay at Coco La Palm for a longer time.

The wifi in our room was not strong enough to do zoom meetings, so I had to reschedule some business, which was a hassle.

We enjoyed the food. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant is beachside which provided a picturesque view and a relaxing environment. The beach was clean. The staff was also friendly and professional. I would visit this hotel again. The room was clean with good amenities.

The check out information on booking.com was different from what we were told at the location. Booking.com had a later check out time. Hence we ended up paying for late check out. There could be a complementary welcome drink at the front desk or in the refrigerator.
