Etna Sunrise b&b0

Great stay amidst our ordeal in Catania due to flight disruptions and diversions. It was great to find a clean, nicely decorated, modern B&B waiting for us. Stunning view from the balcony of the coastline and at just 20 min from Silvestri craters. Breakfast was delicious and it was the first time I got toast in Sicily! Home made jam and honey were offered together with home made cakes. Giusy is a very welcoming lady and made sure everything was up to our expectations. Room was big and spacious, the bathroom as well. It was a shame that we spent only 2 nights but it's a good excuse to return again. Zafferana Etnea is a very small town but very charming and it just sits on Etna which makes it more ideal if one wants to be in contact with nature but yet in the vicinity of the city. Catania is at 40mons away by car.

Nothing to complain about.

Etna Sunrise B&B is on the top floor of what’s probably called a villa. It’s like a suburban house at home but there are at least 3 other living units in it, in addition to the B&B. There is a large garage where our bikes were stored, a garden with an orange tree, the source of the fresh-squeezed juice we were served in the mornings. Our hosts were lovely and spoke good English. Breakfast was very good.

The Host Giusi was very kind and helpful! She really put a lot of thought into her accommodations to make her guests feel comfortable and relaxed! The amenities were high end and the views of Mt Etna from the roof top deck were amazing thanks to the clear day! Her breakfast in the morning was very accommodating to our tastes as she asked the night before! I would definitely recommend! IT is a 30 minute drive to Sapeienza ! Great location !

Can't really say anything negative!

It's been one of the best stays ever. Awesome view, great room, and a personal touch from the owners. They adjusted everything to our needs, lended us what we needed, and provided great recommendations for places to see, visit, and where to eat.

Everything was perfect.

Beautiful apartment with very friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms are brand new and modern. Comfy beds and great bathroom. Breakfast is great and altered to your preference. For diner ask them about a local restaurant 5min drive from the apartment. That food is heavenly. From the apartment it is only a 30minutes drive up the mountain to the cable car. Great place for visiting the Etna and/or Taormina. Way better than Catania or any other place.

Absolutely nothing

One of the best places I have had the opportunity to stay. Everything new, clean and well kept. Incredibly helpful, kind and obliging owners, they can help in every case and advise interesting places to visit. Delicious local food made from homemade products. Good location - close to Mount Etna and the highway to Taormina and Catania - a great starting point for excursions. A fully deserved high rating. As soon as I have the opportunity to be in the area - I will definitely come back here.

Nothing, everything was great!

The accommodation was modern, exceptionally clean and comfortable. With views from our balcony of the distant Ionian Sea on one side and Mt Etna on the other we loved coming back to our base each day. Guisi and Andreas were brilliant, providing delicious local produce and home cooked pastries for breakfast and lots of really useful information about the local area.

Giusi was so helpful and welcoming. Our room was very quiet, well designed, modern but cosy with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower and immaculately clean. The breakfast was delicious with regional specialities. Finally, secure on site parking and a luggage lift. I cannot recommend this b&b more highly.

Giusi and Andrea's place was pretty much perfect for us. Friendly and informative hosts, great breakfast and a fabulous terrace with views of both Mt Etna and the Mediterranean Sea. Our room had a separate small terrace with ocean views. Room comfortable and separate bathroom all good. Convenient secure parking.

A couple of flights of stairs, though the host offered to help with bags.

We spent here 3 lovely nights! Giusi the host was very kind, we get a lot of information through Whatsapp. She served us home made jams, honey and cookies during breakfast, in the morning. The Etna suite was really nice and clean, we loved the view from the terrace. The sun warmed us up when it shone, in mid december :) The sunrises were really nice, and we could see the Etna as well. Parking was easy in the yard. We hope we could return next year!
