WOW. This hotel is incredible. The location is ideal - very central, close to Piazza San Marco / Palazzo Ducale and the Rialto, easy to reach by the city boats and convenient to pop back to during your day out in Venice. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful (and very fast at response time ahead of our arrival). The room is RESPLENDENT and the whole hotel decor makes you feel like nobility. And, after a whole week in Italy, we were so excited to see an actual full-size shower (with an INCREDIBLE showerhead to boot!). Tip for future guests arriving by train: Google will tell you to take the city boat to the Rialto stop but you should take it to San Zaccaria for a much shorter walk with your luggage. And absolutely suggest taking the sunset boat tour if the staff offers it to you on check-in - well worth it. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Palazzo Priuli for making our visit to Venice so wonderful!

Beautiful old hotel with gorgeous furniture, lovely and helpful staff (that speak multiple languages) and nice selection for breakfast. Marble bathroom was stunning as was the chandelier above the bed. Our classic room was right on the canal on the ground floor and was perfect. The local restaurants were great and it was only a 5-10 minute walk to Saint Marks Square and to the lagoon which made finding places really easy. As other travellers have noted the reception and breakfast are in another hotel which is literally next door and not at all inconvenient as still closer to the rooms than most big hotels! There is so much to do in the city, the hotel reception will provide guidance on boat trips and gondola tours they can assist with. We booked several tours through Viator and thoroughly recommend booking tours of the Basillica and doges palace, we also did a food tour around the cicchetti bars and loved trying ALL the food and drink including the famous Venice Spritz. We went on an organised trip to the Morano and Borano islands and saw the glass and lace making as well as enjoying time on the lagoon; even spotting Flamingos on the marshes! If you have time; a trip out of the city to the Prosecco hills is also recommended by us. We crammed in as much; walking miles each day, we could and wish we could have stayed longer (we stayed 4 nights) as still had more we wanted to see. Make sure you go up the Bell Tower in Saint Marks Square as the view is incredible.

Bed was a little on the hard side for us and so wasn't the greatest nights sleep but we slept and its a minor issue. It wasn't clear that we should go to the reception in the building next to the hotel but we were found quickly and wonderfully assisted with checking in.

Very nice small hotel. The reception works for three hotels at once - the Priuli hotel, the San Lorenzo hotel and another one, I don't remember the name. We lived in a separate building - an old palace. The room turned out to be very large for Venice. The bathroom was recently renovated. The reception staff offered a choice of several excursions. We took advantage of two excursions, for which we are very grateful. You can have breakfast both in the hotel itself and in a nearby restaurant. The hotel manager advised us several more restaurants to choose from for dinner, of which we liked the Formosa restaurant the most.

Beautiful historical building, with historically decorated rooms, straight on the water canal. Location was in a bit quieter street, but close to everything. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, they were very kind to our dogs, which we really appreciated. Room was very spacious with amazing, spacious bathroom. We absolutely loved the accommodation and will definitely come again.

Reception is next door and it's covering 3 properties. They are very efficient and super polite, but sometimes there can be a little queue. We were a bit confused about breakfast arrangements, as they are in a restaurant behind the corner, but we found it and breakfast was absolutely delicious and service was superb.

Historical building in the heart of Venice, huge room- they have us a suite by surprise. It felt like staying in a museum - paintings, and art objects everywhere. View to canals - the water is literally under your windows. Quite, numerous options for dining everywhere. Lovely, helpful staff. Great beds and absolutely gorgeous bathroom. We didn’t take breakfast, as in Italy there are many great choices outside. 5 min walking from San Zaccaria - the pier from where you can take a boat to any other place in Venice or to the airport. That was amazing stay. Thank you all , guys, especially Guido.

No coffee machine and a hairdryer in the room. For us that was unnecessary, but for some people it might be important.

The ambiance and mystique of this hotel are incredibly Venetian. Each room you step into has a unique charm and purpose to it that you don’t see from many hotels. Bathroom was incredibly well kept and updated, staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed (to include a boat tour from the hotel of the Grand Canal), and the location could not have been better.

We couldn’t figure out the A/C in our room so one of the nights we slept incredibly hot. We’re warmer sleepers and usually have a cold room, so this is more personal preference.

excellent location in the heart of Venice on a canal, nice area close to many things but still quite nice old building-palazzo well maintained superb modern restroom spacious room, clean

one day had no hot water for the whole day to take a shower, probably an urgent problem or in Saturdays due to being fully booked moreover they suggested a one hour boat tour (70€/couple)around some main canals -it was a nice sightseeing tour but unfortunately without any guide explaining at least few things

We did not have the breakfast included. However, the room overlooking the canal, hotel location on the canal, the recommendation of Valentino/Gondola and recommendation for dinner all were great and lead us to have a wonderful Venice memory especially since we were in Venice for a very short time - one late afternoon and overnight stay...literally only 24 hours! Also reception easy to communicate via email and helped with arrangements from my home in USA. Mark even arranged for a private taxi (gave us specific instructions and telephone No. of Taxi Operator) to pick us up at St. Lucia Station to Hotel. Reception also made an arrangement for us to be picked up at hotel next afternoon to get us back to train station! All if which was very helpful and less stressful for us!

Liked everything...I only wish was that hotel invited us to have a cup of coffee the next morning..My stay did not include a breakfast but an offer for a cup of coffee would have been very appreciated. May I share that as the breakfast the hotel offers is a light continental breakfast, it should be included/offered to all guests...at least a cup of coffee! Thank you.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here. The room was phenomenal! The staff was attentive to our every need and they all seemed genuinely concerned about making sure we had the best experience possible. I would recommend this property to anyone. They helped make our 1st trip to Venice magical. When we come back, we will definitely be staying with them again.

We have zero complaints. We loved our stay.

The hotel is situated in a palace from the 15th century, so it's quite impressive if you look at the details. The room was ok, very compact but still comfortable. We managed to sleep very well. It's a 4-star hotel, so you pretty much get what you pay for. The breakfast at Luna Sentada was very good. Would definitely come back for a short stay in Venice, especially thanks to the position next to the Greek church, it's quite easy to reach Santa Maria Formosa, Rialto, Arsenale, Biennale, etc.

The main saloon looked like it was undergoing a renovation, so there was a bit of cramped furniture laying around. Nothing to point out, really. Would be curious to see how everything turns out in the end.
