Very spacious and authentic room. Good location

Lovely small hotel in Venice just around the corner from the main square. Situated on a canal so you can take a water taxi direct to hotel which is a big plus. Great breakfast and nice little cocktail bar. We visited in winter but there are a couple of outdoor spaces that would be lovely in other seasons.

The location is great, very close to San Marco square and as such pretty centrally located in the city. The breakfast is tasty and a nice experience, even if at times it's a bit cozy with the other guests. The room itself was up to expectations: the bed was comfy, the shower great, and decoration tasteful. All in all it was a very nice stay in a tastefully restored hotel that honors the Venetian architecture (take a look at the breakfast room if you can, amazing)

I know these suggestions aren't readily applicable but: It wouldn't hurt to have the shower a few centimeters bigger, as it's a morning challenge to get into it with the weird folding door (and we're not big people). In fact, the bathroom itself could be a bit bigger as it needs a bit of organization even with just 2 people.

Location is unbeatable, just behind San Marco, yet very quiet neighborhood. Nice breakfast served in an elegant room on the top floor. Try to have breakfast on one of the two tables on the balcony for the view of the neighborhood and the canal. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room relatively large by European standards. and, do not miss the arrival and/or departure by water taxi to the airport. Unforgettable!

Well modernised boutique hotel in a preserved 14th century palace. Ideal location for visiting Venice, 5 minutes's walk from piazza San Marco and accessible also by water a short distance away from the Bridge of Sighs. A small, quiet garden by the canal edge is a rare bonus in Venice. Beautiful rooms / suites with character and tasteful decoration. Modern, efficient bathroom. Our room was ideally situated, on a high floor with plenty of light and quiet, with a view over the domes of San Marco, not directly over the canal or the street which can be noisy. Good breakfast which we enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the canal. Hotel reception staff was helpful with advice for planning our days, booking events and arranging transportation. We appreciated a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on our arrival. Overall, reasonable value for money in central Venice.

Transportation by water taxi was a bit problematic during the Film Festival and operators abused the situation, even more than usual ! Next time we will plan our visit during a quieter period.

The suite is Very Spacious, location is in the heart of Venice, breakfast is good, very friendly staff.

The only thing I found that need more attention is that one of the spoons was not cleaned after the previous guest, and the inside of the bathtub wasn't properly cleaned. Other than that, the hotel was great.

We recently returned from Venice and highly recommend Hotel Dona Palace. The location was perfect, just minutes from Saint Marks Square. The bedroom was very spacious with a lovely view of the terrace. We really enjoyed having drinks on the terrace and watching the gondola's come by. Breakfast was top notch with everything so fresh and our morning server was so kind and wonderful. We would highly recommend this property for your Venice stay and we certainly hope to be back!

The only thing that could have been better was for us to have stayed longer! :)

Location is perfect (close to San Marco plaza and its buzz yet the hotel is quiet) Staff is super nice, kind, polite and resourceful Our room was large for a European Classic Double Room and luxuriously appointed Air conditioning was very efficient (in Venice during heat wave) Included breakfast is delicious with a good wide selection and the waiters were so nice Overall price-value is very very very good As many say: water taxi to the airport is just a real fun and efficient experience (albeit not cheap at 150 euros) Would really recommend this hotel

In all honesty, nothing.

The location is literally a 2 minute walk from San Marco's Square. Amazing night life, close to St Mark's Bascillica, Doge's Palace, Gondala rides etc. The alley ways and canals are buzzing. The Hotel has a terrace overlookin the canals. Great for resting and enjoying a drink escaping the heat and taking it all in. The breakfast was pretty decent and staff very friendly and helpful.

As a solo traveller my room allocation was not the best. It was spacious enough but the location of the room was right next to where breakfast is served. The noise from the streets are unavoidable but if you just accept it as part of the Venetian experience you'll be fine.

It's called "Palace" and it's indeed a palace! It's located in the medieval palace right in the heart of Venice, 3 minutes walk from Saint Mark square. A lot of shops, cafés and restaurants are nearby, Our room was quite large (especially comparing to other hotels), it was clean and cozy. We travelled in December, but it was very warm inside. There's a great sun terrace on the roof! In our room we had a minibar with a nice choice of drinks and snacks inside, but there's also a bar open till the midnight where you can get drinks, coffee or deserts or even some meal. But the icing on the cake was breakfast. I haven't seen such a rich choice of breakfast options for quite a long time: warm meal, cereals, juice, toasts, deserts, etc., etc. And the breakfast is served in an astonishing medieval hall; when we stayed there, it was even more beautiful because of Christmas decorations.
