H10 Palazzo Canova

I loved everything about the property. Comfort, design, location, cleanliness, amenities, food, small details and staff. We did not choose a room facing the canal because of the noise and proximity to the Rialto bridge, we did however have a nice balcony very close to the canal on the side of the building which still had a lovely view but was very quiet in the evenings. The hotel also has an amazing rooftop terrace/bar that was never really packed. I am super particular in terms of hotels, I’ve traveled a ton for work and leisure for the past 30 years, this stay/property was outstanding and I highly recommend.

We had a superior double room, with a side view of the canal. The room was of a reasonable size, the bed and pillows were comfortable and had good quality bedding. It lacked a bit in a dedicated space to open suitcases and the wardrobe was a bit tight for two people but we asked for extra hangers and made it work. The bathroom has single basin with a counter top, a big mirror and a separate little mirror with decent light for makeup, walk-in shower, toilet and (half) a bidet - a bit awkward, never seen one like this before. There’s a great rooftop bar with amazing views of the canal. The location is perfect, about 200 metres away from Rialto bridge, which makes it very easy to walk everywhere (which we really did and enjoyed). All the staff were very professional, friendly, polite and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and can absolutely recommend it. Grazie mille for the most wonderful 5 days!

It has the potential to be a 5 star hotel but still needs a little more attention to detail. For example, the glass used for toothbrushes were never cleaned or swapped (even though I packed the toothbrushes away every morning before we left). But as I said, it’s only attention to details.

Fantastic location right on the Grand Canal near the Bridge of Sighs. They have their own wharf so super easy access - caught a shared water taxi from the airport. We had a canal view room (side view) which gave us a great view across the next door ground floor restaurant across the canal. Rooms well designed, bed comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Hotel also offered a free tour of Murano.

The location is perfect, near but not too close to the Rialto bridge. It has a wonderful roof bar with great views. Breakfast excellent. All the staff very helpful. We had a superior room which was very comfortable and quiet. Beautiful decor. Bed and pillows super comfy.

Immediate impact on arrival of helpful, competent reception. Nice public rooms. Lift excellent. Room comfortable, roomy. Bed excellent. Bathroom pretty good. Walk-in shower perfect. Provision of UK 13 amp, 3 pin electric socket and USB charge sockets. Luxurious dressing gowns and towels. Location is perfect - good restaurants nearby, close to Rialto and Markets. Vaporetto stop very close by. Perfect roof-top bar overlooking Grand Canal.

A/C difficult to control. Two settings - off or cold. Not enough hooks in bathroom. Wash dispensers too high above whb. Bidet impractical - who designed/chose it? Unusable. No kettle to make tea. Nespresso good, but only espresso-sized cups.

Amazing location ! Room was good size and Rituals shower gel , shampoo and conditioner was a great bonus ! Room was clean and had all the amenities you would expect

Roof terrace was great we went there to celebrate my birthday but were told all the indoor tables are reserved for the evening...so we ended up quickly drinking our drinks. If we would have known we need to pre book to use the terrace this would have been great experience. We didn't bother go back Saturday.

The H10 Palazzo Canova was located in Venice, Italy. The hotel was located on the canal which was a great convenience. The hotel was renovated and beautiful. The staff was excellent.++++++ We stopped at the front desk the night before our departure. We had to return to Milan the next day by train to fly from Milan to Atlanta. The person at the front desk looked up and reviewed the train schedule. It seems as though there was some type of Convention that weekend and most of the trains were booked except for an 8 a.m. She kindly booked the 8 a.m. train for us. Had we not stopped at the front desk and just showed up at the train station we would have had to wait for hours to board a train. I don't remember the persons name but they were all helpful and attentive.

The hotel was a bit pricey. Close to $1,000 a night.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a great location. We had one of the suites and it was a good size and very nicely decorated. Housekeeping an excellent job, place is spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s on the grand canal, close to Rialto bridge. There are loads of restaurants close by as well as a water bus stop, great for heading into St. Marks Square, which is close also. There is a lovely roof terrace where you can spend time sipping a delicious cocktail whilst watching all the activity on the Grand canal below. We had some delicious pasta here two nights also. Will definitely stay again.

Nothing, it’s a fabulous hotel.

The property is located at the center of Venice, which from this location you can reach anywhere you want. The hotel was nice, had a good interior design and the staff greeted us with Prosecco, which is always nice ))

Nick pick regarding Venice, but not the hotel. Since the entire city is on water and does not have roads. It can be difficult to get from the main train station to the hotel. You have to get into a boat buss, which station is located at the opposite side of the canal where the hotel is located. Therefore it was difficult to cross the canal with a lot of luggage. So advise when you go to Venice don’t bring too many suitcases.

A fantastic location, with some superb restaurants just a few paces away tucked in the back streets. The staff were so helpful and welcoming - and indulged my wish to practise my Italian with them!!! They recommended restaurants, suggested things to do - although we are old hands at Venice - and greeted us cheerily every time we came and left. Our room was on the top floor at the opposite end from the terrace bar, a triple aspect room, very quiet, with EVERYTHING we could need. The terrace bar was a really lovely facility with snacks and great drinks - and heaters and blankets because it was darned cold this weekend!

I actually can’t think of anything. We didn’t try breakfast because at 20 euros, it seemed a lot when you can have a coffee and croissant at any local bar for 4 or 5, but the people that did seemed happy.
