I would highly recommend Home47 to anyone looking for a superb place to stay in the old town of Salerno. Carmen and her husband are wonderful hosts. They are very welcoming and helpful, they take great pride in offering a home from home experience. A beautiful breakfast is served each morning with a wide varity of choices, including a delicious homemade cake each day made by Carmen! The rooms are bright, large and spacious with high ceilings. They include tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge which are very handy. We had a lovely balcony view that overlooked one of the local streets. The building is very secure with a couple of steep steps leading from the courtyard to the entrance of your aparment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return some day.

I expect like most places in Salerno, the shower is narrow, however the bathroom is beautiful decorated and towels are provided and changed each day which is great.

The location of the property is absolutely spot on, right in the centre of Salerno. Although the room is above a busy street once the doors are closed the apartment is very quiet and very spacious. Breakfast is served every morning in Carmens apartment, delicious homemade cake is the star of the breakfast. lots to choose from and you won’t go hungry!

Nothing that we disliked at all. The apartment missed homely touches, soft furnishings and pictures would bring the apartment to life. I would still highly recommended Carmens apartment as this is our personal taste and did not distract from our lovely stay.

To stay in Home 47 was a great pleasure. Carmen is amasing hostess. So carefull. In every morning she made us breakfast with love. Carmens lemon cakes is so deliciuose. She made it by her self. Also the cappuccino is peace of art. Carmens husbands playing of jazz in mornings,dog Mateo sitting on floor- its all about Home. Rooms are very clean and confortable. Location near all the restaurantes, shops, ports, beach. Carmen, thank you so much for everything! We in love with you and your Home forever🫶🏼

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Home 47, Salerno. Our Hostess, Carmen, was exceptional. Carmen presented us with a beautiful breakfast, including baking a different cake each morning. Security at this Accommodation was excellent, and the room was very spacious. Location in the old city of Salerno was perfect, close to all amenities including the Port where you could catch ferries easily. We wish to thank Carmen for a comfortable and pleasant stay and for looking after us so well.

Excellent breakfast each day with fresh homemade cakes and coffee. Brilliant size room with AC and balcony. Location is really handy for ferry ports, bus stops, 20 minutes walk from the Train station and 10 minutes walk from the main shopping/restaurant part of Salerno. Carmen is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to help us find a taxi to visit the Path of the Gods after a landslide blocked the main route. 10/10

Everything was perfect!

Carmen and her husband are excellent hosts, offering a warm and helpful experience. The breakfast is delicious, featuring a variety of choices including Carmen's homemade cake. The rooms are spacious, bright, and equipped with convenient amenities like tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Our balcony provided a lovely view of the local street. The building is secure, although there are a few steps to access the apartment. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again in the future.

Everything was better than we expected. The room was very spacious and quaint, we loved the tiled floors and the kitchenette. Carmen (the host) was soooo sweet and accomodating, she made us feel very welcome and taken care of. We also enjoyed the stiff ortopedic matresse in the bed. I have chronic back problems and this bed was just what i needed for a good nights sleep. :) Everything we needed was in an arms reach, Shops, Restaurants, the beach just 5 minutes down the road....The breakfast , which Carmen makes herself, was very nice and thought out.

The room has a mezzanine floor with the bed and sadly the WiFi signal was a bit poor up there, but this was not a significant problem for us

Fabulous rooms. Huge. I had the lift room. Only stayed 1 night - but could easily stay for a week or so. Plenty of room downstairs with eat in kitchen, large lounge, TVs and mezzanine bedroom that was huge too. Great location in old town. And breakfast was delicious. Went to Salerno to start Amalfi coast tour and would definitely recommend staying at Carmen’s in Salerno, and starting Amalfi trip from there. Ferry pleasant walk to catch Ferry, even with cases.

Carmen was absolutely exceptional. She goes out of her way to make sure you're taken care of. Her breakfast is amazing, and she's willing to help you with your stay. Her location is prime, and you can walk anywhere from where you're at. We took a taxi from the train station, but it's a lovely walk if you don't have a lot of bags.

We liked everything, but my husband is a larger man, and shower was a bit small for him, but it's not a big deal.

We had a great stay at Home47. Carmen is the perfect host - welcoming, helpful and friendly at all times. We also enjoyed meeting her lovely dog Matteo! The location of the B&B is very central within the old town. The room, facilities and the breakfast are all superb (including homemade cake!) and we very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for your stay in Salerno!
