Chocohotel

It’s a nice chocolate themed hotel! It’s a modest stay but very clean and the best staff, friendly and supportive! They helped us with every question that we’ve had. If you are a sweet tooth you will love the breakfast 😍 composed 95% of chocolate 🍫. We personally loved the location because it isn’t in the center, this allowed us to see other parts of the city on foot or with public transportation. By the way the bus station is right in front of the hotel and train station is a 10 min walk.

We would’ve like more variety for the food at breakfast, not just sweets, but is a chocohotel so we cannot complain😋

The hotel has a fun, novelty theme that adds to the charm. The rooftop pool was lovely during the hot weather and had plenty of space. The staff were all extremely helpful and accommodating, always happy to give recommendations, call taxis etc. And when gave us all bottles of water for our onward journey when we checked out. The breakfast was very varied and generous but more focused on novelty chocolate items than any healthy or truly delicious/italian options. The room was comfortable with good air con and good shower. Private parking on site.

Wifi poor. The location is described as close to the old town but it is a steep climb. My partner and I were ok but the couple we were travelling with found it a struggle and we ended up taking taxis a few times. It isn't far time wise (maybe 15mins) but would be an issue if you're not fit and used to walking steep inclines. The coffee at breakfast was so poor (instant Nescafe) I can only assume they're hoping you'll buy a better one from the cafe instead. A real shock when Italian coffee is world renowned!

it was our second stay after the first time was that good :-)

they need to work on the gluten free desserts in breakfast fast. our celiac daughter was very disappointed when she realized that she can't eat anything from the huge buffet table with all the chocolate. they to have a nice gluten free stand with bread and some dry cack but it is not comparable. they didn't even have a small closed Nutela or other kind of chocolate to use as a gluten free chocolate. we asked them.

The hotel was really beautiful and the room very clean. There was a large parking space free of charge. The breakfast was wonderful with really quality products and of course, with many types of chocolates. The breakfast got even better when a very friendly person from the staff, Eriona, brought us an italian coffee and grated chocolate on it instead of sugar. It was the best coffee ever. On my next trip to Perugia, I will definitely book this hotel again.

This is a destination hotel. The main feature is the all you can eat chocolate buffet for morning breakfast . Almost everything is chocolate milk, white,dark. With some fruit and pancakes slash cereals. The rooms are decorated after the chocolate theme. The restaurant on property has excellent food as well.

The beds are very firm and pillows flat. For this reason it would be a one time adventure!

Easy access, free parking, friendly and helpfull staff (finding best solutions for parking near the town center). Nice beds (blankets in chocolate design), very good sleep. Fit for business purpose.

Wi-fi connection made some small problems, however solved. Furniture needs upgrade. Room space could be better organized. TV does not fit in the furniture and programs list was completely chaotic.

The staff was very nice and helpful.. the pool area is very nice. and we also had a dinner in their restaurant and the food was really good.

The position is abit far from the old city/cultural area. If you want to walk its quite a tough climb..... but at least there's a bus stop just in front of hotel to get the easy way to the old town.

The chocolate buffet was insane, I saw the pictures but in person it was way more than I imagined!! we truly could not believe our eyes. The pool also was amazing and the views on the rooftop were great.

if they could extend the breakfast a little further as it’s a little hard to eat that much chocolate that early it would be great but apart from that it was amazing!!

The chocolate theme was certainly very consistent throughout and was good fun. The breakfast was chocotastic and certainly a winner with our son.. The pool was very clean and nicely positioned on the roof for maximum sunshine.

The location looked quite convenient on the map but it was approx a mile to the centre and a good 80% of that was steeply uphill. That said, it was a good way to earn the pizza and it was downhill all the way home.

The breakfast was great with lots fresh fruits, pastries and a savories goods, also they were vegan and gluten free items to choice from breakfast. The room was a good size with a large bed and a lovely view from the window. The location was ok the was a bus stop to the center of the city across the road
