Criu Boutique Hotel

Every aspect of this hotel is outstanding. The rooms are beautifully furnished, with meticulous attention to detail. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the quality of the shampoo and bathing capes is on the 5-star hotel level (if not better). The breakfast served here is truly delicious. They offer top-quality Italian salami and cheese, freshly squeezed juices, tomatoes, and a variety of other delicious options. The service provided by Bruno is truly remarkable. He exemplifies how tourism professionals should conduct themselves. He is always ready to help, friendly, and constantly wears a warm smile. On our last day, when we had an early flight, they went above and beyond by preparing generous breakfast packages for us, including fresh fruit and pastries. It was an incredible gesture that demonstrated their commitment to making our stay truly memorable. The location is excellent if you plan to explore Mount Etna, Catania, Siracusa, and Noto. It serves as a central point for all these attractions. What's more, parking is free, which is a great convenience. We are already looking forward to returning to this remarkable hotel!

The hotel is beautifully designed, clean and comfortable. The facilities are modern and of high quality. The room we stayed in was immaculate and the bed very comfortable - we got a good night’s sleep. The hotel is close to the town, and there is a lovely authentic Sicilian restaurant nearby. You can walk up to Monti Rossi from the hotel in about 30 minutes. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and when our taxi let us down they found a way to fix it so we could enjoy our holiday.

Nothing needs to be changed, we had a great experience.

We loved every minute of our stay at Criu Boutique Hotel. From the stunning architecture to the exceptional staff it was an amazing experience. Bruno and Noemi made sure we had the best time. We had a small misunderstanding about the room we booked and they found a fantastic solution for it. The hotel only has 8 rooms, so it felt really familiar. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily and we can‘t wait to come back!

Really not much at all - only the plastic cups (individually wrapped in more plastic) in the bathrooms and the plastic single serve Nutella cups at breakfast could be replaced with more environmentally friendly solutions :)

The design of the overall hotel is absolutely great - every detail is thought through, modern and stylish. Apart from great beds the breakfast provided us with a great start into the day. It is an almost family like setting with the hotel staff trying to fulfill every wish. The quality of the food is great and even included home baked fresh cake :) The location is really good: There is highly regarded pizza & steak place nearby and its a short trip by car to both the Etna and Catania.

Nothing to mention - we had a great stay.

The location is excellent—very quiet but close to restaurants and to all Mt Etna has to offer. The room was large and very comfortable—with a beautiful bathroom and a nice terrace. The staff is awesome. And breakfast was wonderful!

It was a very well designed and managed hotel with a pizza restaurant that makes the best pizzas ever! Be aware that the pizzas are huge! Although the room we were initially placed was not perfectly soundproofed, the hotel manager was able to move us to a different room with a better location and farther from the noise source which pleased us. The breakfast was also great and one of the best we had in Sicilian hotels.

Windows are not soundproofed well. On weekend days, that might bother people who are sensitive to noise.

Criu Boutique Hotel is an exceptional accommodation where you feel comfortable like at home. The friendly, professional, and courteous staff as well as the beautifully designed interior and modern rooms invite you to stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, fresh, and very tasty. The location in Nicolosi is very well situated between the National Park and Etna and the city of Catania. Catania is easily reachable by car in 25 minutes. The starting point for exploration for Etna is easily reachable in 20 minutes by car. The boutique hotel has a steakhouse attached to it that offers excellent food and great service. We can recommend the Criu at any time with good conscience and thank you for the unforgettable time. Thank you very much! With pleasure again at any time!

Our stay at Criu was Brilliant. the property is modern, chic and very inviting. Everything was very well taken care of by the generous and wonderful staff, it felt very personal. The stay was supremely comfortable. Bruno, the manager was always there, if we needed anything, if we had any questions, for recommendations etc…The breakfast was served everyday with lots of Love, special mention there, we looked forward to it every day at the start. Absolutely recommended also for its location, at the base of Mt. Etna and also to other towns around. Definitely recommended for a stay in this part of Sicily.

The place is amazing - clean, tidy and beautiful. The breakfast is excellent and served in an intimate and special atmosphere. The location is excellent and is in a lovely and pastoral town about 20 minutes from Mount Etna and really accessible to anywhere you want to go in all of Sicily. The best service I have ever met in my entire life - Bruno is the most professional manager there is and Noemi the charming and kind receptionist took care of everything and thanks to them we had a vacation that we will never forget Thank you for everything and highly recommend to everyone 😊

!!!Everything was just amazing

The hotel design is clean and chic, the rooms are big and comfortable, breakfast is wonderful, and the staff is superb. The town center is nearby with a few good places to dine. We stayed here for 4 nights and we traveled most the east coast (from Taormina at the north to Noto at the south) and it was very convenient.

The car parking is locked and every time you need to get in or out, you need to wait for one of the staff to unlock it.
