Albergo Ristorante San Biagio

The staff were extremely helpful and the turkish bath was very refreshing. This location is easily accessible from the bus station and the town of Montepulciano proper (though not from the train stop). Finally, take the time to visit their restaraunt and take in the sunset as it turns the mountain fortress beautiful.

We were quite embarassed when we learned after the fact that we needed a reservation for the bath. It was advertised on the website, but we missed it... perhaps advertising that at check in would be helpful so we don't accidentally ruin someone else's time.

The Albergo was AMAZING! Every staff member was polite friendly, helpful, and smiled. The room was beautiful and we had a balcony where we sat and enjoyed a lovely glass of wine after a busy day. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect to visit the town of Montepulciano. Which is a must see. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast is included which was so incredible. Fresh baked goods, cappuccino, ham. Excellent! There isn't anything negative to say about the Albergo. I only wish we had more than one night planned. And, plenty of parking in their own lot.

There isn't anything we didn't like.

Breakfast included a tremendous spread of pastries and yogurt to hard-boiled eggs and cured meats. I was touched when my cappuccino was served with a frothy heart. The staff was always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate any special requests such as toasting the bread.

A shuttle (even just three times a day) back and forth to the city center would have made the experience a little better. Taxis are rare in Montepulciano. It's definitely not for the weak at heart to walk twice a day, especially in mid-July. The positive was being able to burn some of our increased calories!

Staff were brilliant. Rooms were comfortable & clean with a gorgeous balcony with stunning views. The food was delightful. The liver pate was a real surprise & so good, I ordered it again the following night. The steak was cooked to perfection and the pasta was outstanding. Fridge in room an unexpected treat fir letting water cold, etc.

Although there were some gardens areas, these could be developed as it would have been nice to have sun beds to relax on. Missing shower door but not really problematic.

The view of Montepulciano was magnificent. It is close to the city and has a large parking lot. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was also good, it was the best value for money.

The heat pump under our terrace was a bit noisy at night. I am a bad sleeper, the soundproofing of the windows and doors was not very good. It could have been a little cleaner. For example, the humidifying surface next to the windows was moldy.

All hotel staff were fantastic throughout our stay with nothing being too much trouble. Front of house arranged for a wine tasting and tour at La Ciarliana, which I would highly recommend. Dinner and breakfast was great with a good choice. Hotel was perfect for what we needed and the views out to the fortress from our balcony of vines was beautiful

It was all great! If I was to give any feedback it would be to consider tea and coffee making facilities

Facility needs upgrading. Toilet seat cracked. Shower handle loose. Draperies off track. No pictures on wall but sitting in closet. Empty frame hanging in restaurant area.

Everything -- the staff is really lovely and accommodating, they make you feel right at home. The hotel is situated right outside Montepulciano and the front rooms have a great view of the city and Duomo. The food was exceptionally good! Rooms are comfy and had a nice relaxing time alone in the spa area. Would haaappily return for longer -- amazing value!

Lovely breakfast. Very attentive and friendly staff. The pool as lovely and there was a very nice Wellness Centre. From the room balcony, the rolling Montepulciano hills could be seen.

Using the pool had an extra charge. There is t a dedicated lounge are to relax in. Montepulciano is a long walk away, about 20 mins.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Spa experience was excellent as well. Also, the hotel is only a 15-20 minute walk from Montepulciano, so it's a great trade-off in terms of value.

We had to leave the doors open because it was so warm, which is normal for Italy in the spring. But, there were dogs next door that were barking through the night, right next to our room. We didn't get the best night's sleep because of this. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay
