Hotel Real Fini Baia Del Re

We loved this place! Starting from the fact that you get to park your car right at the door to your apartment, how well the room was equipped, how quiet the place was, how enormous and comfortable the bed was, finishing with the friendly staff and tasty breakfasts. Good enough internet (I got it up to 45mbit/s). We also saw that the place has its own electric car chargers, which seems convenient if you drive an EV (we do not).

No information about items in the mini fridge not being included (2 cheap water bottles and a tiny juice can be considered complimentary). The scrambled eggs were usually quite dry. The place would definitely benefit of having a pool. As you might have noticed, these remarks are very minor - really hard to find any drawbacks of this stay!

We weren't expecting a great deal from a hotel right next to the motorway, used as a stopover, but the rooms were fantastic - clean, modern and spacious. We had rooms in the outside motel-style part of the hotel which meant we were able to park right outside of our rooms. The hotel represents fantastic value for money and has great facilities - we made use of the gym, and ate at the restaurant, which while being on the slightly pricey side provided wonderful food and wine. Would definitely use this again if passing the area.

Our only slight issue was that it isn't really accessible to anywhere if you don't want to use a car. The hotel is right next to a busy road leading on to the motorway and not safe to walk along. We did attempt to go for a pre-dinner walk but aborted very early - this however did give us the opportunity to find the family owned business Antica Acetaia Bompana very close by and purchase some balsamic vinegar from a wonderfully informed owner.

Breakfast very good, it could have a bit more choice in vegetables and fresh fruits. The room was spacious, well laid out with all the necessary amenities in place. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with indeed very good bedding. The restaurant has had some exceptional menu entries, and a decent variety. The location is excellent for those traveling across the country.

We wish we had a few more gluten free entries, both in the breakfast options and in the restaurant. Yet the staff were indeed accommodating to what they could do for gluten free meals. Unfortunately the sauna was out of order at the time of out stay.

Good location for hotel and easily found from motorway. Very good sized room and bathroom. Good restaurant. We stayed in the "B complex" so were able to park the car in full view of the room (had a fully loaded car so a bit of extra security!)

Room only had two bedside and one desk light - could really have done with a bit more lighting. Only a single (good sized) mirror and that was in the bathroom - could have done with one in the room as I had to wait until my wife had finished drying her hair / doing her make-up before I could use the bathroom

We made a last minute decision to go to Modena and as it turned out, all hotels were pretty much fully booked. When I saw Baia Del Re, it only had 5 rooms left so I quickly booked it. It wasn't as close to the center as I had hoped (which was to be walking distance). However, worry not, for this hotel can easily get you a taxi every day that you need it. Or if you're bringing your own car, even better. The center was only 10 mins away by driving.

The lighting in the room and bathroom could be a lot brighter. Too few lighting fixtures so it tends to be too dim at night.

The hotel has a very convinient location, close to Modena, right near a highway. The rooms were nice, the parking is right near the room, and is free. Breakfast was fine. The staff is very helpful, and we were welcomed upon a very late arrival (~11:00 PM). The room equipment and hotel facilities were above the expectations, the 4 stars are well deserved.

The two rooms we have booked were on second floor of the outside building, is was not easy to get up there with all the luggage. The bed was not very comfy.

Location just off the motorway superb. Large room with excellent comfortable beds and our first decent shower throughout Europe. Restaurant food was great and wine excellent quality and value. EV charging issue we had when leaving was resolved promptly. Nice friendly staff.

Breakfast was awful but not a surprise as we have had worse in Italy over the years. Our lasting memory will be the dinner.

The room was clean, the size was good. And the breakfast was outstanding.

The bed mattress was to, to firm. The cold drinks in the fridge are expensive. It is better to purchase items from the lobby shop.

Huge room, well kept. Kind service. Big parking. Good breakfast.

The location is not great, nearby a large road (although the rooms are quiet, ours was far from the road). In our case though it was perfect as we were passing through, it's easy to reach from the motorway.

Excellent place. We arrived for the night and received very kind service!! Big and clean rooms. perfect!!! Forgot a baby stroller when we left for the airport, they contacted us and kept the stroller until someone came to pick it up.
