This is the second room I stayed in at this property. The room was excellent in terms of cleanliness and furnishings. While this room faced into a courtyard, it was wonderfully quiet for sleeping over rooms on the street side. Breakfast was also excellent with many selections. The host was very kind at check in, and offered an option to have a little breakfast packed if departing for the checking out prior to breakfast opening. The location is a short walk to the train station, attractions, and restaurants. Wifi was reliable too.

Everything for this second stay and this room was great. I would recommend it. The first stay was on the street side and too noisy for sleeping as well as a bit of smell.

The room was superb! Large screen tv which I needed for the World Cup :) very comfortable bed and the staff are so nice! They offer every day to change the towels and sheets even though I said I was happy to keep the same ones. Large bathroom with excellent shower. For breakfast, there was a good mix of savoury, sweet, cereals, multiple different juices and teas and coffees. Also in summer they do the local specialty granita :) Overall, an excellent place to stay, good value for money and easy access with codes texted to me in advance. Nothing, everything was great!

Messina in general was a surprise packet, so to find great accommodation was a real bonus. We stayed here on arrival to Messina, and this was a return visit as we changed plans at the end of our stay in Sicily. Really comfortable & spacious room - noting we stayed in the adjourning apartments, not the hotel we stayed in the first time. It was no problem at all though to have breakfast in the hotel, rather than the self serve option in the apartments - but this is completely satisfactory.

This is minor, but In the apartments you need 3 keys to access your room, whereas the hotel security is all via entry codes, which we found handy, especiallyif you're doing a few things separately. . Overall though this wasn't a huge issue.

I booked this room just for one night as I had an early ferry to the islands so I wasn't expecting much. However, I was really impressed by the double showers and by how comfy the beds were and loved the sea view. The location was perfect as this B&B is only 10 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the port. I loved the nearby restaurant recommended by the B&B. As I couldn't stay for breakfast I really appreciated the complimentary tea/coffees available at reception. I did grab a croissant at 7.30 when the breakfast room opened.

The larger rooms are on the second and there is no lift. This wasn't much of an inconvenience as I had a light case and the lady at reception offered to carry it upstairs.

The host allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in which was very helpful. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated with very large bathrooms. The location, just 10 minutes walk from the railway station, close to the Duomo and a tram stop, was excellent. A very good breakfast was provided the next day.

There was a smell of sewage in one of the bathrooms and lingering smells of tobacco smoke in both rooms. Otherwise we were very pleased with the accommodation, service and location.

The room I was in was close to the kitchen and you could hear every sound in the morning as they prepared breakfast. No way to lock the room from the inside. No elevator in the building (my room was on 2nd floor). There is another property with very similar name very close by - should be clarified in the description.

Good selection for breakfast, room was nice and spacious and staff were pleasant and co-operative. As a location was easy to find and check in instructions were clear.

On arrival there were lots of mosquitos in my room. the shower was nice but not configured well. Sprays directly at shower door and short people whould struggle with this however there is also hand shower.

We loved the service and attention to helping solve our unfortunate late arrival, the rooms are beautiful, large and comfortable! It is a hidden gem!

We had room 5 right in front of the breakfast room and it does get noisy very early. Breakfast room is a little small, breakfast is European style so not abundant, but the service is really good.

Great value for money. Nice and helpful staff. Perfect location, between yhe Duomo Square, the bus and train station and some of the bestcrestaurant in town. The rooms and the service are on a high-quality hotel standard!
