Hotel Tripoli

Had a room with terrace, view from hotel is fantastic, you are in the center, can rent a boat, eat, go to the beach. Room is well conditioned, comfort, modern and clean. You can have a drink immediately downstairs, or walk left or right to have dinner in numerous restaurants. Parking is couple hundred meters away, always found a space, for check-in or check-out you can park shortly besides hotel, to drop/get in the luggage. In the evenings downtown is full of people, but with windows closed, you are not disturbed, don't feel any noise. Definitely a place to recommend.

The hotel isn’t within easy walking distance from the station especially with heavy luggage. As the taxi service in Desenzano is very poor and cannot be relied on we found the best way to reach the hotel is by bus. Apart from Tuesdays (Market day) when the bus route is different, there is a stop not far from the hotel.

We liked everything. Small and nice family-driven hotel with smiling employees who made yo seen and welcome. The location in front of the harbor is perfect and the soundproof is good. You can sit outside in the cafeteria and watch people (and dogs😊🐕) passing with coffee or something to drink with a cake or a snack. You can sit in the shadow and just enjoy. We really hope to return to this nice hotel and Desenzano.

The staff were extremely friendly in every regard, they even helped us book a taxi back to the airport as our Italian is poor. We had the apartment so AMAZING views, and a terrace to enjoy them at night. We bought food in, but ate breakfast once which was delicious. Air con was a welcome bonus as it was hot during the day and there is a lot of glass in the apartment. The beds were comfortable and plenty of soft clean towels, with complimentary slippers also.

The bathroom in the apartment was quite dated, and there was a leak in a pipe which created a pool of water under the window. This soaked all the spare toilet rolls which we had to lay in the sun outside to dry. The shower also doesn't drain very well so you have to turn it off frequently to avoid the water spilling over.

Small hotel in great location on central lakeside opposite ferry station. Breakfasts were excellent and staff friendly. 15 minute walk (downhill) from station.

Our side view room was comfortable but rather dark requiring lights on during the day. Next time we'll go for a front view. 20 minute walk (uphill) to station!

located on the waterfront just across the main port. The room was big enough with a wardrobe, kettle, locker and coffee. The bathroom was also bigger than most Italian hotels. Breakfast was good. lots of croissants, cakes and macarons along with usual bread, jam, fruits and cereals. The staff were very polite and helpful. Helped us to book a taxi to the train station

We stayed in the apartment. It was spacious and really clean, newly renovated bathroom and doors. The view from the terrace was beautiful. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Location was perfect.

The bedrooms got really hot so air con in each room would be great, the sitting room was also so hot in the morning so maybe a light curtain would help

A very good 3* hotel, the room exactly as pictured, quite spacious, very clean, the staff is very friendly, there are even slippers, we had a lake view room, got exactly what we paid for:amazing view both from the room and the bathroom. Even though this is the centre of Desenzano, we didn’t hear any of the outside noise in the room. The air conditioning works perfectly.

The breakfast was quite limited, but all in all fine and standard for Italy, not really a disadvantage

Great location on busy waterfront yet room quiet with view over the marina. Modern bathroom with good shower. Excellent breakfast with proper coffee and something for everyone's taste. Staff friendly. Air-con appreciated as it was around 36 degrees when we stayed!

Very good breakfast many choices. The hotel is in the very center of the town, Easy to go to everywhere.

The layout of the room is very strange, when you open the door, immediately see the bed. Sofa is in the whole way to bathroom, Although there is window, but no view at all. It is just a place to sleep.
