Property wonderful and the setting for dinner and breakfast delightful.

Our room was not “up to scratch”! We booked a Comfort DBL room And we’re assigned room 20 and I was a little disappointed. No mosquito nets as in the photos. Our fly wire door was broken. Shower taps and temperature were tricky to navigate and water pressure just adequate. Our safe did not work and despite the manager/owner telling us he’d be back after attempting to fix it we never saw him again. I did approach him about the absence of the mosquito net. Not really interested! Also I would have preferred the walk in shower as ours was over a bath and it required careful navigation to step into the bath. He didn’t seem to care that it may have been difficult for me to negotiate. Overall we had a reasonable stay but I would not return

Wow wow wow is all I can say about this property, the owner Alessandro and the team. Phenomenal grounds. Cosy, super clean rooms (just a few ants) - but we are in a Masseria, modern key access and on site parking. 6 mins drive from the bustling Otranto. As vegetarians, they tried to accommodate us with more non meat breakfast options. Dinner for those who eat meat and fish - you must try it. Even for my sister and I, they created a 2 course meal for our final night which was delicious. Alessandro takes care of his guests, and I’m grateful he and his team went out of their way to organise a bottle of Prosecco and a cake with candle for my sisters birthday. I would highly recommend this hotel. it’s also close to the most beautiful beaches. PS the tennis court was a massive bonus. Minor Drawbacks: - better signage leading to the Masseria. the lights are not enough. - breakfast to finish at 1030am had to keep the tea/ coffee until the last guest leaves. - ants in the room and travelled into the suitcase. if you are going to Otranto, you MUST stay here !!

Perfect vacation spot for us. -The staff is extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the Salento customs and traditions. Both the breakfast and aperitivo/dinner team. -Dinner is top-level. We went to top restaurants in Salento (Maglie, Otranto, Lecce). We had as good meals in the Panareo restaurant (Cucina della Providenza). - Breakfast is amazing. Cold, warm and sweet options. If anything, we ate too much and gained a few pounds :D. - Laundry service was same day and worked perfectly. I needed it in a two-week vacation. - Views from the pool are unreal. Pool with bar service facing the Adriatic.

I have to think hard to find something I don't like about Masseria Panareo. - Wifi is just OK. It does not allow remote working. (We didn't need it in our vacations at all!) - A slight opportunity for improvement is that breakfast starts at 8. If it could start at 7.30 it would allow early risers to enjoy more of the morning.

Room and terrace are beautiful. Location: very nice view. Beaches in the area are nice but busy. .

During the day the masseria is a little bit quiet (dead atmosphere), you can get something to drink but then you have to go the restaurant and you must do your best to find someone. The food in the restaurant is good but when we speak for ourselves: the menu could be more simple. The prices of the room are not cheap and we found it a pity that we even had to pay for the coffee in our room, we think it's really not service oriented.

Facilities and location were excellent being only about a 10 minute drive from Otranto. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and a wonderful swimming pool to relax in. Rooms are very tastefully decorated. Our a la carte dinner was very tasty although there was a slight mix-up about what was and was not available- nothing major. Breakfasts were amazing with a good selection of hot and cold food to eat and amazing views from the terrace.

We would have preferred our room to have been on the ground floor with outside space to sit in and enjoy a pre- dinner drink. We would have expected the Massaria to have provided us with towels to use on their sun beds at the pool but this was not the case.

the surroundings are absolutely beautiful - you will be able to totally relax and enjoy the gorgeous views of the countryside and the sea. There is a tennis court which is really fun and the rooms were so clean and comfortable - I am very particular and it couldn’t have been more clean! Everyday, the lovely cleaning ladies cleaned our rooms and gave us fresh towels, bath mats and toiletries :) the family who run the property are really friendly, always happy to help, and the food is out of this world - best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! I will definitely return!

Amazing stay, super nice room (Junior Suite) and extremely friendly employees. The breakfast was very delicious as well and the restaurant offers the choice between a la carte and a pre-selected menu which is very good in price. We had two very nice evenings with the a la carte choice. We felt very welcome during our stay. I completely can not understand the complains regarding the personnel, everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Terrible internet connection and no Italian network so I hope you have a great book. The hand shower is rather strange with its extremely heavy rubber pipe and no shower head. Can you move to something more tradicional? The light in the room from the air conditioning panel and electricity switch board is rather distributing at night.

Beautiful location on the hilltop with a stunning view over the sea and the surrounding hills. The pool area was really nice and relaxing. The breakfast was just amazing, new Italian specialities every morning.

The food selection for lunch was too limited and the dinner prices were a little too high. But the food quality was good. But we preferred driving to other restaurants in the nearby villages.

The breakfast was exceptional with fresh baked tarts every day and different options each day. The fixed price menu in the evening was good value with well cooked fresh produce. The dinning room was beautiful with a high vaulted ceiling and the ambience was very relaxing and spacious. The pool was fabulous with a diving board and views out to sea. Excellent swimming in the Adriatic close by and on the property was on the scenic coast route with easy access to Otranto. The staff and owner were very attentive and welcoming. The beds were comfy and daily housekeeping good. We shall return.
